On keto so I avoid apples - which I’ve always loved! Jicama chopped like apples for a fritter is fantastic when simmered (to reduce into a thicker liquid) in a saucepan with apple cider vinegar, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, pumpkin pie spice, dash of pink salt and a brown sugar substitute (all to taste). When jicama has taken on a brown color let all cool enough to store in a jar and refrigerate.

I love to steam okra. When I steam it whole it isn't slimy. It is just really nice. My mom boiled okra when I was young and I always hated it because it was slimy. Now we love eating it steamed, it is just a lot of flavor and I promise, no slime!

Really just beginning w prebiotics. Took probiotics for yrs w no noticeable benefit. I started w chia seeds and immediately noticed an improvement in my immune issues. But I noticed the big difference when I began w potato starch about a month ago. My psoriasis and yeast issues which have been lifelong have almost completely cleared, even while consuming high glycemic foods and drink. Something I would never get away w before. My question is is there a difference btw different types of fiber, chia vs resistant starch like potato starch and what u mentioned here w fruits and vegetables? My gut is telling me there is w the potato starch. And if so, if resistant starch is helping me more so, are there similar other fiber sources foods I should be consuming? Currently I've reduced my glycemic to just what's found in fruit, orange, banana and apple and then I take 3 tablespoons each of chia seeds and potato starch in the morning.

Jicama is the best! I grew up on it. I'm Mexican American and we eat that in the summer time to cool off. Try it with paprika powder.

If I'm using your prebiotic & vital reds do I still need to use these fresh or frozen prebiotic?
@medeaendor37065 жыл бұрын
What does it mean flaxseed is useless when not grinded, is it the omega 3 I don't get when not grinded?
@Suckmycyst5 жыл бұрын
Medea Endor your digestive system can’t break through the outer shell to reach the goodness inside so it needs a little help. Otherwise it will pass through you undigested. Chewing will do the same in principle, but you’d be chewing away all day to make sure every single seed is broken up.
