Fast and precise with the Precea 6000
AMAZONE is expanding the Precea family with a new 8-row machine. The 3-point mounted high-speed precision seeder with overpressure singulation is very suitable for sowing row crops such as maize, soy, sunflower, beet, rape and sorghum. There will be the rigid Precea 6000 and the foldable Precea 6000-2 in the future. Both machines can be equipped either without fertilizer equipment or as CC types with a rear fertilizer tank. The Precea 6000-2FCC, which has the front hopper FTender for fertilization, offers the maximum.
Rigid and foldable frame for 6 m working width
The Precea 6000 is optionally available with a rigid or the Precea 6000-2 with a folded frame. The 8 to 9 separation units are located on a special support frame in which the units can be moved freely on a profile rail. This means that the driver can change the distance to up to 12 rows depending on the equipment. Additional tools such as tractor wheel mark eradicators or a loading board for filling can be attached regardless of the row spacing set. The short, compact design ensures low lifting power requirements.
Exact overpressure separation
The Precea is separated by overpressure. The seed hopper and the complete metering system are provided with overpressure by the fan. The seeds are fed from a seed container to the respective singling disc, which shields the dosage in an airtight manner, and is pressed against the holes. Exact separation now takes place via the following three scrapers. The grains then reach the firing channel, where the contact pressure is stopped and the grain is precisely shot into the seed furrow and stopped by the catching roller. An opto transmitter precisely monitors the separation and reports errors or duplicates to the tractor terminal. The scraper technology can then easily be adjusted. Another expansion step is the electrical and fully automatic scraper adjustment via SmartControl.
In the electrical drive of the overpressure separation in the Precea Super equipment variant, the individual row cut-off is also integrated, so that tramlines can be switched or rows in wedges can be switched off. Higher sowing rates in edge rows and tramlines can be easily adjusted from the tractor cab. In combination with the electric drive, travel speeds of up to 15 km / h are possible with the Precea.
The rigid Precea 6000 is alternatively available as a special version with the SpeedShaft mechanical separation drive. The separation disc is driven by a flex shaft. In combination with the very smooth overpressure separation, travel speeds of up to 12 km / h can already be achieved in this segment without compromising longitudinal distribution.

Is the fertilizer row shut off as well?

@@amazonenwerke So not individual row unit for fertiliserr shut off? Also when we can we expect an updated EDX 6000tc with fertiliser row shut off

@@flock0fmoosen An individual row shut off for the fertiliser will be available within 2022. Unfortunately there is no fertiliser shut off available for the EDX and currently not planned for the future.
