I looked at them for a bit, then just got a Diablo blade for my 7-1/4" 20v Bauer instead, now it cuts wood or metal depending on the blade. These where a thing prior to the $30 Diablo metal blades, now they just seem obsolete compared to the 7-1/4" as you can cut it all wood and thicker metal too. I myself got a 2nd 7-1/4 just for the metal blade when it was on sale for same or less then the metal saw and could not be happier.

@@charlestreibley9904 Good to know! I thought that the regular circular saw would turn the blade too fast to cut metal. So it's good to know it works 👍thank you

That works great! I see you have 7k subs but can't see comments.

yes, the video is only a couple days old, and just a couple hundred hits so far but no commenters except you! BTW I used this saw again today for eight 17in - 39in cuts, still cuts amazingly well and straight, and still on the original blade LOL. I am impressed!

How thick is it rated for?

@@Ljcouture Good question! I had to look at the listing, harbor freight's website says: "This dependable BAUER™ 5-3/8 in. Metal Cutting Circular Saw makes clean, burr-free cuts in solid or hollow metal stock up to 1.86 in. thick." IDK If that's true, I don't have anything that thick, but it has cut 1/4 in steel for me without any problem

@ yeah I looked at the listing on the app and and saw the 1.86” but I would thick that has to be for hollow tube. Would be quite the feat for it to get through 1-7/8 solid. 1/4 is still pretty impressive though, and thank you for the quick reply!
