Mam, I want to prepare for UGC NET JRF after my M.A.... I have seen the syllabus... only outlined topics are mentioned in it... I have come to know that there are questions related to novels in which questions are asked about characters... But there's a huge number of novels in the English Literature... how can one classify which novels are important out of the heavy junk of novels... I have Political Science as my 2nd subject in Graduation... If the above mentioned conditions exist, which of Political Science or English will be a wise choice to opt for MA keeping NET JRF as target??
