Thank you for uploading this video. There is still one thing that I keep thinking about, which is one of the weak points of the Lotka-Volterra equitations. You said (and I thought like that as well first) that the model assumes that prey only dies by predation, but aren't environmental influences and diseases included in r? I thought r represents birth rate - death rate. But this is a constant value and perhaps that is the weak point? (Apologies for my English). Could you please explain this to me?
