Predator 9000 generator review after 4 years

Have had mine for 3 years and it still starts up first pull every time. Definitely worth the money

Absolutely it has been a very important vital piece of equipment to add to the farm and to everyday use. When needed Like this year is either number 4 or number 5. And we did not have power for 4 days this Winter. And without hesitation setting there for 6 months. 1st pool it started. And a bad day turned good.

Do you run your computers ? tv ? and sensitive electronics on it ? no problems ?

Yes, it runs my whole house. When the power is out. Accept for the washer, the dryer and the microwave. I can turn everything else off. and I can run the hot water. Tank

I have the same one and have never used it but the first thing I did to it was take the spring off the carburetor since I couldn't stand to have it run at ~3,650 rpm when the engine is cold. The second thing I did was getting rid of each one of the stupid stickers which is another thing I cannot stand to look at. I may it run for another brake in hour at 1,000 rpm and change the oil again, having the generator ready if we ever need to use it. We have a water well too but the Predator is not able to get the 5 hp started and the main reason to have the generator is to keep the house with the appliances operating. Take care & try to stay out of trouble!

That surging is caused by OLD gas.... drain it, remove the carb bowl drain, I think you will notice the gas looks bad... smells bad....

Is it loud would you recommend it for a food truck?

I mean yes it is a little bit loud but considering the size. It's pretty quiet compared to my Honda.

MAYBE SEMI ENCLOSE IT , AIR VENTS ---- CO 2 SENSORS INVOLVED .

Yes, I still have it and it still runs like a Beast. When I move it got set in the barn for a year and a 1/2. And the gas gumed up. Took A part Cleaned that put Fresh gas in it. And she fired right up again. We were done renovation at the deer Camp With no power, the generator runs it every Hunting season.. No issues. I would recommend this to the one.
