My personal thoughts One, more maps and environments. Honestly wasn’t sure if I was in different maps or just different parts of the same maps. They’re all jungles and look the same. Two, there’s a balancing issue with the predator in my opinion. Obviously skill should trump all, but I would say 70-80% of the time fireteams win unless they did something kind of dumb. I had a match where I was the predator and won in 2min because the whole fire team separated for no reason. The predator should be a scary force, one where with 2-3 guys it’s still questionable if you’ll win. And the main reason why that matters to me is listed in three. Three, there’s nothing that lures the fire team apart. In a real situation, it’d be confusion. But obviously everyone knows the predator is here. So everyone stays together in a tight group, and the AI is too easy so there’s no incentive to run behind cover and separate from the group. I think if we did 4v4v1 this would help with that issue. 4 players attacking the base doing the mission, 4 players defending, and the predator hunting both sides. Actual players would cause people to separate, making the predator able to actually pick people off. If we don’t have a way to force people to scatter, the predator has to be able to do more damage. In the time it takes him to take down one teammate, I’ll have switched to mini gun and unloaded, killing him or putting him in second wind. Maybe tweak the cloaking a bit too. Predator seems too easy to see while cloaked. Could probably throw in a perk to make it more effective or something. If I’m outside a base on a tree just sitting there squating and the fireteam is at the center, and can spot me while I’m not moving, and shoot at my cloaked predator who’s just chilling in a branch, there’s a bit of an issue And one last thing, predators have always been able to zoom. Can we get that function? Fireteams have sniper rifles but I gotta rely on a third person view with a ranged weapon like I’m shooting from the hip? UPDATE: glad you all liked the ideas :) In regards to the cloak comment, I suspect there was an aimbot going around giving me that experience.

Okay, I like this, but it still looks like it's in beta. Okay, 1st: Make the cloaking slightly better. You could easily see the "Cloaked" predator. 2nd: Maybe a Campaign. Like one campaign is Fireteam, Where you can have local multiplayer, Or AI teammates while you try to do missions, And the Predator Campaign, you play As A Predator, and have two other local players or AI also be predators. And your mission is to hunt the entire forest down, With your "Gang" of hunters. 3rd: Maybe also have something that splits the players together in multiplayer. Because as of now, The players have no reason to split up. And better lures. 4th: maybe a 1st person for the predator as well, with a zoom option. Like how the AVP game was handled. But I like this, as it is. It could be better though.

@@DMVGREY yeah I'd love a vibey, survival version of a Predator game. 8 marines surviving in the jungle. You have a timer which counts down when the chopper is coming to get them. So it's up to the Predator to take them out in time. Marines have to set up camp so it would cause some of them to split up. Maybe ocasional enemy troops would spawn to raid their base, but only to keep the fireteam active, so the game is not boring. It would be a 9 player game and the timer could be random or pre-selected.

I've been playing this for the past week nonstop. It's so much fun and is very welcoming to playing in groups with your friends while you hunt down a predator or hunt down your friends. There is such a wide variety of builds with both the fire team and predator. Also the DLCs are very worth the money and add some really cool weapons and a variety of play styles.

hardware limitation, either it's gonna look like poo or you'll have good performance. Not every engine can be tweaked for both like Doom for instance. If you want both you gotta buy PC and sacrifice part of convinience.

The only way I see them doing that is if it was a quick and silent takedown from above. Like in the Batman Arkham series. Too much time spent on said cutscene would give fire team players more time to gun down the distracted Predator.

My first match, I crawled up a column as Alien, to the ceiling above a marine who cornered himself to cover his flanks. I screeched to freak him out a bit, then as he was scanning left/right, I crawled down the wall behind him for the execution. It was that moment I fell in love with asymmetrical versus. I try to play at least a little of everything in the genre that comes out. Most games are pretty bad though.

Liberty Prime Cool. That’s exactly what I did before too lol. I was Alien and I was on the ceiling following someone. But since it was dark I was blending in and every time he would turn around I would just stop and wait until he starts walking again until eventually I would sneak up from behind and execute!!! Memories on that game was so litt.

Eh I'd say there's a few more issues than just frame rate, using the guns feels kinda off and pretty much all melee weapons except the combistick have like no hit detection whatsoever. There's also a few balancing issues but that's another conversation in itself.

More and different maps. Jungle we have, now add city maps in LA, Snow maps, ancient pyramid maps, small towns, desserts, mountains, Night missions. Maybe even timeperiods so your teams are cowboys or WW2 soldiers. The Predators have visited Earth for centuries. So many great way this formula could go. I've been waiting for a great predator game and this is "almost" it. But as you say it feels unfinished and with so many great opportunities missed.

It’s much better now, and the Fire team is really fun. Some pred builds basically cheat, but because they got a ton of buffs fire team can now fight press on equal footing IF they communicate. Best played with friends.

Besides the tutorial, my first game was as one of the soldiers and I found the gunplay and gameplay pretty fun. It can be a pretty good way to level up to get better gear for Predator games too. Definitely a game I’ll play every once in a while for a few matches.

Been playing all weekend. An so far great game and getting into matches as a soldier is fast every single time but predator not one single game all weekend. Which is upsetting since that's one of the roles you can play but never get to. On pc frames and graphics are a lot better then what I've been hearing from the ps4 version
