It's nothing new...and not the best animatronic jaws movement!!! The prop maker artist from Canada started to produce them first for sale at 2004. I was ordered from him a full animatronic costume with movable jaw ....but never received it!!! He always made excuses. He is a huge tallent...but a worst businessmen ever!!! You can but there are drawbacks to using your mouth to open the mandibles. I am working on my new mask using servos so the mouth opens wider.
