I do appreciate this teaching way-explain the concepts and differentiate them (in previous video) before getting into an example. Though I finished the 3rd term of managerial accounting, I found this very helpful! I know a lot of students do not like listening concept lecture which they find it wasting their time. Perhaps because of this reason, teachers stop doing so as least in my college (I am into the 4th year). So I thought colleges in Canada were self-study by going through teachers' PPT (most are from publishers) and read books on our own which I am not good at it at all. Until I came across to Patrick's teaching videos, I found the current teaching way in our college is very unhealthy! Every teacher uses PPT and some example questions with a very brief explanation. Now I don't have to doubt myself being stupid after trying so hard but failed to figure out on my own.
