Normal Zarc would be my biggest wish-list... specifically a SANE Zarc. Obviously he'd likely just have personality traits that all 4 Yu-Boys (Yuya's joy/entertainment drive, Yugo's passion, Yuto's seriousness, and Yuri's competitiveness (potentially a sadist streak as kind of a "this guy is a living allegory for personality disorders")), but I really wanna see Zarc before his start to fall. It was the one biggest flaw in "Zarc"'s redemption, we didn't spend much time getting to know him before the fall and most of the "redemption" was Yuya just shouldering the burden of what was realistically someone else's fault.

Because I must say that Z-ARC needs to get his human form instead of the monster form, both for the comminity as a fanservice and for the character as well, it would be nice to see him getting "purified" in his event

This is a really cool prediction list, it's fun to see these! As for my actual predictions, they're rather different than yours... I'm actually also a "No Tiger in 2025 believer", but I also it really hard to imagine they won't do Tiger ever, I'd bet on her coming at some point by the end of 2027 unless the game shuts down first. I also find a lore world to be hard to believe... far from impossible, but it doesn't "fit" into Duel Links the same way other worlds do with the focus on a story told about people who duel, they've made a great push recently to give card lore more focus but if they were to further that push into games I feel they'd need a more different spinoff than just suddenly having Sky Strikers fight with cards instead of swords... I suppose they could invent a new format or separate the gameplay from the story, but I think that's a little too much effort while also spreading the scope of Duel Links a little too thin to cover card lore on top of everything else... I wouldn't be surprised if another game dives even deeper into OCG/TCG card lore, but I'm not expecting Duel Links to be that game when it juggles so much else including epilogues to ARC-V and VRAINS, as well as the only exposure to Rush Dueling in the West. While my exact order is a tad different, I mostly agree with the other choices in your lineup, I'm sure this is Akira Zaizen and Vector's year, and I think there's a real chance we get Vetrix/Tron late this year. I also think it's finally GX's year and Atticus is a solid choice, although I'm personally betting on Trueman first, with Atticus and maybe Yusuke Fujiwara coming next year to tell GX Season 4's story, and Z-ARC is one of the characters I'd be least surprised to see... that I'm not personally predicting, I had him on my list for a while, but eventually I switched him for Yusho, even with Yusho's lack of cards and general buildup in prior events (Compare to how much they talked about Lulu and Rin's return before their event, or teasing Akira and Vector through NPC appearances) I think he's just going to come eventually with the fact he has any printed cards + how important he is to ARC-V, especially the final season which they probably want to do a Duelist Road for after doing one for the first two seasons. Anyway, too much text aside, here's my actual full list: January: Flame(?) Non-unlock gate event, will still be rerun though, functional replacement of Roaming Duelists + It puts more Speed Only Events on the calendar despite fewer new characters in my prediction list overall, I kinda think we're only getting five Speed characters honestly February: Manabu Sogetsu March: Trueman April: Vector May: Yuro + Yujin Goha Double Unlock, the Goha Six aren't all important but double unlocks give them more to work with and let them introduce Swirls to build up to Yuga Goha June: Akira Zaizen July: Yusho Sakaki August: Manya Atachi. I'm not sure on this one, but my gut's telling me we're getting Manya to boost GO RUSH's character count and it'll be this year. Maybe swap her month of arrival with one of my later predictions. September: New World 3 Characters October: Rovian + Yuna Goha, and an Aqua non-unlock event November: New World character December: Vetrix(?) I'm least sure on Vetrix (Or any December character) and the New World, but I do think we'll be getting a new world even if there's issues with adding one like having run out of animes... but I'm also believing in Yu-Gi-Oh! 9 still, despite a lack of announcement and the Card Lore shorts, while Vetrix is here even if shoved awkwardly in December because if we do get a 9th Yu-Gi-Oh anime (Or that equivalent amount of Rush characters) and 15 total characters this year again...my prediction list only has 4 new Speed characters otherwise if I had something like Yuka + Yuran over Manya on the list instead, so Vetrix plus the non-unlock VRAINS events are here to hopefully soften that blow.

We will definitely get more than one VRAINS character in 2025. In fact, the Soulburner event at the end of the month may be one of 3-4 VRAINS events that lead to some of the Ignis being discovered in DL. I also wouldn't rule out not getting a character in January as there is usually a KCC in February. And the Soulburner event appears to be the same type of event as most character unlock events.

I don’t think we’re going to get a new world for September because I don’t really see a point in getting another new world in game since the ones we have are enough and instead maybe we could get something like a double unlock event. For me the characters I’d like to see are: Manabu, Asaka, the rest of the Goha siblings especially Goha Yuga, Tiger, Dextra , Nistro, Akira, Atticus, Zarc, Vector, Vetrix, Otes, Goha Yuna, Rovian, London and Manya.

I think this will be a huge year for Zexal World and Arc-V World. I'm expecting Vector, Z-ARC, and Don Thousand as well as new skills for Nasch and Merag. Tron/Vetrix has a good chance too but Konami might hold off on his release until 2026. It's definitely possible they could finally release Atticus, because GX World is in this weird limbo state of sort-of acknowledging Season 4 but not really getting there. So, they could start setting up GX World for a focus in 2026. Flame is probably going to be an update to Soulburner's skin, which wouldn't surprise me. When I talk to Soulburner, it's weird to hear "Flame and I are bringing the heat." Really? Flame isn't there. And, no, in spirit doesn't count. How can you just talk about someone that isn't there like that? In all seriousness, it's possible that Flame will introduce some more Duel Links lore. An update to Soulburner's skin isn't necessarily what the player base wants, but it does make sense. This year likely begins the return of the other Ignis until VRAINS becomes more of a focus in 2026. If there isn't a new world, there are plenty of unreleased characters that could be a batch-release instead. While normally I wouldn't say anything like this, September being a major month for the game is the only reason this is a direction I think Konami could consider. They could update DM World, GX World, and 5D's World. Batch-release the filler characters from DM, give us the Shadow Riders, and release the other Dark Signers in September. Again, September is the only month where something like this seems like a good approach. Will they do it? No. I'm not that insane. I'm sure Konami has plenty of other ideas.

I think a DM anime world is very likely especially with some of the support we recently got with Yugi’s new Shining Sarcophagus of Light deck and the new Blue-eyes support. Another world I think is possible could be OCG structures world since I believe there are a few decks some characters play that we don’t yet have. I don’t think we’ll get a lore world just because of the way skills work and we already have archive skills for Sky Strikers and other decks so it makes me wonder how they would go about their skills. I’m not sure how many if any archive skills we have for decks that are played in ocg structures.

The Sky Strikers archive skill is borderline useless now though. Most decks run Link Darkraze instead. The archive skill requires you to not have Engage in your deck, adds two of them, and adds one of each Link to your Extra Deck if you don't already have them. It's nice if you're still building the deck but afterward it's way too replaceable.

Pretty good list. I think characters not mentioned that have a shot is Tsukikage, seems like the next most relevant Arc-V character after Zarc. Vrains has been a slow drip since it is the series with the least amount of characters but I would love to see Blood Shepard added. Then anybody from DM-5Ds is a long-shot at this point but since they have added characters whose cards are already in the game, I would like to see the other Dark Signers like Misty.

I want to see what double the resources could pull off, and to work compound strategies between the pair. This opens up another format.

It's been two years since I play Duel Links and I have never participated in a GX (character unlock) event. It would make sense to add Adrian with cloudian, Tania with Amazoness, Professor Viper with reptile support and obviously Atticus. Zigfried (DM) should easily be added because some of his cards are already added and others can be, whereas Rafael can be added with a skill that reflects his playstyle (how he protects his monsters). 5Ds needs more dark signers and team Ragnarok. Zexal will continue the barian arc (Vector, Number 96, Don thousand). It will be interesting how they will add Nash and Marin - through a skill or something like Kalin/Dark signer Kalin or Jaden/Yubel. Arc-V would be good with Yusho and Moon Shadow. Vrains has a lot of characters to add. Some of Aporia and Promo's Duel Links cards were never printed, so it would be possible to add characters such as Bohman and the Shepherd. Sevens will continue the Goha Siblings arc and should add Tiger somewhere between them.

Alright, here's my prediction for 10 characters I think are coming to Duel Links this year (though probably not in this order) 1 - Atticus/Fubuki (GX) 2 - Tron/Vetrix (Zexal) 3 - Vector (Zexal) 4 - Tsukikage/Moon Shadow (Arc-V) 5 - Akira Zaizen (Vrains) 6 - Blue Maiden and Aqua (Vrains) 7 - Tiger (Sevens) 8 - Yuro Goha (Sevens) 9 - Manabu (GO Rush) 10 - Rovian (GO Rush) I'm sure there's going to be more than 10 overall, but these are just my 10 guesses. Also, I think similar to Rin & Ruri the Nasch & Merag would be a double unlock we'll get next year.

DM/DSOD - i really want regular Malik already lol otherwise they can retire those worlds GX-Amon makes the most sense in order, otherwise Fubuki/Fujiwara but i expect those for S4 so after 5D's-no idea, but id love to see Misty or Bommer ZeXal-Vector seems likely. but id love to see Tron, and maybe Nasch/Merag dual unlock. 96 could be sick too Arc-V-Zarc is the big final boss but id love to see like Sergey or Tsukikage VRAINS-Akira is the last Season 1 left but id love to see them do a dual unlock with Blue Maiden and Aqua with Akira Sevens-Yuga Goha is the next big one Go Rush-Manabu fersher

Honestly, it seems like all characters from DM, gx, and 5ds will no longer be added, rather they’ll focus more on zexal, arc v, vrains, and the rush series considering that they are the ones with the least amount of characters, it’s best to add more characters along with new packs for their ace monsters

I’m locked in with my prediction of one GX And/Or 5Ds character in 2025. The rest of my predictions include the pretty much known Manabu followed by Vector, Akira, Tiger/Yuga G, an Arc-V character besides Zarc who could be Shinji or Sergey, Yusho could be after Zarc idk, Earth or Aqua Blue Maiden, Rovian, and maybe Namu Marik. Nash is preparing for an appearance this year, but I absolutely don’t want a Solo Nash on the wheel since zero other Barian works like that. He’ll be a Road Event with Marin if Vector is the Raid Duel or vice versa. I also don’t anticipate Chronicles becoming a full world due to interactions and duelists. Campaign Absolutely. We can hopefully finally finish worlds here OR do something small and ceremonious like OCG Structures or DM Anime.

I think it's gonna be a filiworld. And it has to be these 3 possibilities. The first one it is they could go back in the past for the O. G Yu gi oh where you know it's pass A10A past tyva. Id much rather a structures world as opposed to stories/chronicles. I really want to see Shoma treated as a more proper protag in yugioh stuff(and an official localization please the fan ones are so behind). Could even do a mix thing? Since Shoma does like a thing where he talks to the monsters spirits when he builds a deck. So like maybe archetypal skills do like a transformation thing or the monsters show up to say lines sometimes. Other than that, not really predicting them but I'd love to see manga original characters get added somehow. Stuff like Yako Tenma from R, Tragoedia from GX, Skeleton Knight from 5Ds, Kyoji Yagumo from Zexal(Please give me an official Yagumo theme), Arc V actually has a nice little team of villians including Ren, Isaac, Eve, And god(Adam is there too). These likely wont be added for a long time if not ever unfortunetly.

The big problem with putting Manabu in February is that Speed duelists will complain so much. We had Yuri in October and no Speed character since then. If February is a Rush character like you predict, then there will be a 5 month gap between Speed characters, which seems grounds for massive complaints. This really depends on what this Soulburner event at the end of January ends up being, and if it's a "suitable event" to "replace" a Speed unlock. Ultimately, it's very strange what Konami is doing with two months of no unlocks at all.

Vector I can see him coming to the game and yeah his cards are limited because the Umbro horrors have no support whatsoever. Yuo is this month after Tag and before the weird Soulburner gambit, so in all likelihood it would only be Zwijo sooner like Asana was if we get another Speed Character in February for balance. If Manabu which is realistic, Zwijo returns in March and Yuri gets February. So this would mean Yuri has a rerun as technically the latest Speed Duel character in this series of events.
