How is Texas not the most underachieving team in cfb? Why do they always seem to get a pass? They're always recruiting in the top-10 (usually top-5) and have a SIGNIFICANT talent/money advantage over the rest of the B12 (sans maybe Oklahoma). Ohio State never loses to Indiana/Northwestern, while Texas has TWO (2) embarrassing losses to Kansas in the past handful of seasons.

Ari is assuming OSU’s performance against Georgia and Michigan’s against TCU are representative samples of OSU and Michigan respectively. However, there’s a number of other scenarios that would have yielded the 2023 CFP result we got. Either Georgia and/or Michigan could have been performing worse than normal in their games. This is most likely (for Michigan) due to McCarthy’s significant number of interceptions. Either OSU and/or TCU could have also been performing better than normal in their respective games. There’s no doubt OSU matched up better against Georgia, but that alone doesn’t make them a better team than Michigan.

It would definitely be devastating to a Baylor and TCU fan if they were ineligible to compete for a Natty. The guy on the left must be a fan of a team in the Big 10 or SEC

Ari, look at the NFL draft the last few years. Michigan is getting more guys drafted. The draft isn't close if you take out OSU's receivers. So this blue chip ratio and all this other crap contingent on rankings slapped on 17 year olds and never reevaluated is irrelevant.

Ari my friend... You are certainly welcome to say Texas "looks good this is there year" / "Sark offensive mind is gold" / "Ewers for Heisman's" - other UT bandwagon/on-paper non-sense. It happens every year for the last 12 year. But be sure to avoid Vegas with all this "Texas winning" noise - you'll lose you shirt brother. The reason why UT loses games "they shouldn't" is because their culture is soft - to many 5star/pre-Madonna's players; Not enough lunchpail/hard noises grinders.

That's what Ari was referencing. The blue chip ratio has Alabama(90%), OSU(85%), UGA (77%)

@@travisshuttleworth630 yeah there is no advantage there for OSU or Bama over UGA who trusts their evaluations and takes many of these kids early with deep conviction aka 3-stars Jordan Davis and Ladd McConkey. Also, all 4-stars aren’t created equal - a 40th ranked 4-star ain’t the same as one that is ranked 200.

Who's this Wasserman goon? Sounds like a star-crossed teen lover explaining how he built his Madden team with all 99's and can't be beaten. Does he actually watch football? Does he have any idea that great teams are beyond the sum of their parts, and some teams are less? He's fooled into thinking that stars are everything simply because of Saban's dynastic run.
