Leviathans are gigantic dragon-like sea demon creatures, originally from the Bible - very different from Supernatural's. Tainted Cup uses that original definition, they're gigantic monsters the world has built walls to protect themselves from!

I pretty much agree with all your nominees, but I think quite a few will be in a different category (either YA or Romantasy). When among crows is actually good, so much better than Divergent. The Black Bird Oracle directly follows the first trilogy while book 4 is a spin off so you could skip it and read it later without missing anything important.

Super solid list! I'm trying to get my predictions video out this weekend. I've got 11 of yours on my list, but 4 of yours I think will get nominated in other categories (YA or Fanro). Also, Wind and Truth is coming out in December so you're definitely safe from reading it!
