Anything that has a strong flavour will only appeal to a select number of people. Meaning, the only way to increase the number of people liking it is to take away said flavour. To soften it up. to change the dish. The only way to make 40k for everyone is to take away what makes it awesome and unique. And that is why Gatekeeping is necessary if you want to keep your hobby.
