What can the Ramayana teach us about the pandemic? The Ramayana is an epic which recounts the struggle between good and evil. The hero Raam ultimately triumphs over the demon Ravana. Aside from its messages of right conduct, justice and good governance, the Ramayana is the story of WHOLENESS-the TOTALITY. Being the story of totality, the Ramayana includes not just profound spiritual wisdom but is also a textbook containing precise information about physiology and psychology. Ravana has ten heads comprising the five organs of action and the five senses, which, if we neglect the deep silence of Wholeness (Raam), can lead us astray. Raam is assisted by Hanuman who carries the Gada. The Gada is shaped like the brain and spinal column. The one who holds the Gada is the mind. The mind can fly anywhere on the wings of imagination and assume any form just as Hanuman can. So how is the Ramayana relevant to the pandemic? It reveals deep principles and the dangers contained in genetic engineering. Both the Covid virus and the Covid vaccines were created in a lab by gene editing. Genes, which make up our DNA, are understood to be the origin and building blocks of life, but DNA does not act alone. Life begins not with DNA alone but with a WHOLE single cell. The Cell comprises the Nucleus, the Cytoplasm and the Membrane. This presents the three in one structure of life that is revered in the Vedic wisdom. The WHOLE cell has the quality of Raam, the TOTALITY, the embodiment of Vishnu, the maintainer of the universe. The nucleus, which contains the glittering snake-like coils of DNA, is the bedrock of the operation of the whole cell. It has the steady supportive qualities of Lakshman ever awake, who is the embodiment of Shesha, the support of Vishnu. Together these support the expression of the Wholeness of consciousness (Raam). Pure consciousness (Raam) is the ultimate basis of the whole physiology, but its expression in human life relies on physiology. Physiology is a reflection of the wholeness of consciousness. Mind and body, consciousness and matter are very intimately linked together, but, as the Vedic literature affirms and explains, consciousness is primary and matter secondary. The life sciences have developed while trying to ignore consciousness. A great mistake, since consciousness is the defining characteristic of life. Human life begins with a single cell which multiplies to become 37 trillion cells, yet throughout this process we retain a single identity. Consciousness is the ultimate cause and substance of the biofield of life. The DNA and its cellular expression is unique for each individual. The whole thrust of our immune system is to protect the individual integrity of our cells. Every day more than 70,000 repairs are completed in every cell, including repairs to DNA. Our individual identity relies on the uniform genetic integrity of our cells. When you proceed to finer time and distance scales you come across greater power, as the discovery of nuclear energy shows. You are coming closer to the great power that drives the universe. The power of Yagya, which relies on a deep knowledge of the vibrational power of sound, needs to be employed to awaken the laws of nature to protect life from degradation. 4. Some historic predictions: one was by SK Kelkar about Koyana earthquake in 60s.. Many comments here are wrong stating that the problem was not Ukraine joining EU but joining NATO. In reality, joining EU is the same part of the problem as joining NATO. Moscow did not want to loose their sphere of influence. Also, you can say that Moscow became jealous of Ukraine because it was joining NATO before russia. At the end of day, it does not really matter what the reasons were, because you are missing the most important aspect: which is the global aggression of russia against civilized world. russia attacked Ukraine in 2022 as barbarians and vandals, and for this russia will eventually disintegrate, this will happen in the years of 2028-2038. The truth is with Ukraine, and the Truth always prevails. It could also happen that the truth will prevail sooner than 2030, it could be the year of 2026,. Russia is going to have major economic problems in the very near future, and it will get worse and worse for russia.
