Prefect Investiture Ceremony 2024 25 || Barnes School & Junior College

On Saturday, 29th June 2024, we celebrated the Prefect Investiture ceremony at Barnes School and Junior College. It was a solemn occasion where our Head Boy, Dakshay Pandey, and Head Girl, Hetika Jadeja, along with House Captains and their council members, were sworn in for the year 2024-25 by our Principal, Ms. Uttara Kulkarni.
The ceremony began with a procession led by the Principal, House Presidents, Head Boy, Head Girl, and House Captains, accompanied by the school choir singing the school hymn. After the commissioning of the office bearers, our Principal addressed the congregation.
Badges, sashes, house flags, and house banners were presented to the House Captains, Day Scholar Prefects, and Boarder Prefects. The Head Boy and Head Girl prayed for dedication, punctuality, and reliability to fulfill their responsibilities diligently.
The ceremony concluded with the uplifting school song, ‘Onward Barnes and Upward Barnes’.
