I recently went to the movie theater and saw a really cool alarm. It was a CO2 alarm. There was also a sign that had different actions for the alarm. For example if there was trouble with the system the strobe would go off or if there was a leak the alarm and stobe would go off. Just thought that would be something cool to share.

Silent walk test is used in buildings where there alot of Important things that don't want to be interrupted by fire alarms sounding and just want to test the initiating devices without the audible and visual alarm such as quiet time, or school learning. The only problem with it is that you need a walkie talkie to talk to someone at the panel just to see if it went into alarm because you don't know if the initiating device worked. Audible walk test can be used without a walkie talkie because when the alarms sound and flashes, you'll know that the initiating device worked

You're meant to test pulls via pulling the handle, EST even says so in the pull!

How would you do this whole setup but also turn the horn strobes on for a few seconds while at the panel to check the audible signal instead of having to run to the panel to silence the alarm when testing detectors and pull stations. I mention this becasue some panels have a silence toggle switch built in so you can activate a pull station walk to panel and dip the switch for a few seconds to hear the alarm, reset alarm, switch silence back to normal.

Lol why do you hide your panel pin, its not like someone's gonna break into your house just to mess around with your panel

What are the notifier things with "Trouble" and "Arm" ?
@Undercoverelevator212-s2n7 жыл бұрын
Alarm not Arm.
@LogicDoesStuff3 жыл бұрын
That trouble light indicates the dialer has been shut off and the system is in a testing phase in this situation. The “arm” corrected to Alarm (Alm.) indicates the system being in Alarm.
