So, I got pregnant at 18- completely unplanned... and now at 26 and married and thinking of trying again, I can promise you there's never a right time!! I'm nervous and excited and worried and impatient all over again! I feel like when/if I do have another I'd feel like I'm starting over completely!! Everything your mom said is spot on. Holding your baby that you made, talked to and felt for 40 weeks is mind blowing fantastic and I can literally FEEL that emotion right now thinking of it! You're going to be a wonderful mama & Josh will be a great dad! Don't stress, let it happen in God's time

You don’t need to feel pressured to try for pregnancy if you aren’t ready! We are all supporting you in every case and you should definitely wait if you think it’s not the time, but it’s okay to change your mind too!

Even if you start trying doesn't mean you're going to get pregnant right away. I believe it's all in God's hands, you might start trying and he says not right now. I don't think anyone is ever really "ready". Having a child is so life changing yet magical ❤️

I hated being pregnant & didn’t feel connected to my baby at all. Had multiple break downs about having to “share my husband” with a baby….. well let me tell you. She’s amazing, literally incredible, I love her more than life itself. What your mom said about not caring if you have to get up in the middle of the night, you don’t care. You just want your baby to be happy. They fall in love with you as their mommy and you can see it happening. It’s so amazing to be a mom. 10/10 highly recommend 😍

I had my sweet boy when I was 19 and I wouldn’t change that story. This year we are trying to have another baby. In August I had a miscarriage. I was only 4 weeks but I had a strong feeling that I was carrying twins. It’s been hard but we are going to try again. I believe that God will bless us when the time is right. Loved this video.

I believe that there is a difference between knowing when the time is ‘right’ and not quite feeling ready. I am the same… 1 moment I’m ready and the next I’m not but I am also aware that the time isn’t quite right for my family yet. I am also of the LDS faith and you guys have some really beautiful and powerful experiences as a family. Thank you for sharing and showing your trust in the Lord and his timing. Personal revelation is so beautiful ❤️

Kass, I am a mother of one child! I had her when I was 21 years old (I am now 25). She came as a surprise (I was on the pill) but my husband and I were so happy. A child changes your whole life. Yes it is hard, but it's the kind of hard that has a purpose, so it never feels like a bad hard... if that makes sense. You are more prepared to have one than so many women who do become a mother! You already know how to care for your siblings, I would say that you would do an amazing job. Pregnancy is hard but it can also be fun! It's the one time everyone will swoon over a big tummy 😂. Its a really cool experience but can also be mentally challenging even more than physically challenging. My biggest piece of advice for new moms is to never be afraid to ask for help! I went to therapy when my baby was 6 months old because I had so much anxiety! I loved her so much and didnt want anything bad to happen to her, so those thoughts consumed me a little too much. But my therapist told me that is normal. It really helped talking to someone about it!!! I say GO FOR IT!!! You would do an amazing job, and raise an amazing human. Much love 🖤

The sunlight shinning thru the back window was so I pretty!! My 2nd baby was a twin as well😢 makes me sad sometimes wondering what we are missing or what my 2nd is missing out on, but I trust God to make up the difference for her as well. 💗 Also I got married at 28yrs old, so a bit older and since we want quite a few children I felt like we needed to start right away. My husband and I had known each other since he was 8yrs old. We were such good friends before we even started dating! so we knew each other really well and yeah we were just ready to be parents right way... but we ended up trying for 10months before I did get pregnant. I had given it to God right from the start and wanted his leading in this. Its a very serious things to have children (im sure you know tht!!) its a life that is in my hands and I can ruin it or help it blossom into something beautiful... so anyway God said wait a bit, but when I got pregnant we were more then ready and it was perfect timing for our life. I feel like when you are ready you will know it. It will be peaceful and sure. 💗😏 Side note:) while I feel its such a serious decision it is also full of joy and happiness and when we do our best with all we have in us, God is so good to help with whatever we miss. Having children is such a blessing and they make the best memories💗💙

I wanted to get pregnant so soon after we got married, but then we moved and became best friends with a family of four and I saw first hand how hard it was and how many sacrifices you have to make as a parent. So I was going to wait at LEAST two more years (by then we had been married for two years) and as we started to grow confident in the decision to wait some more I got pregnant. And I’m telling you, I was devastated when we found out! Cut to now, I still have days where I wish we had more time just the two of us and didn’t have to buy so much baby stuff and move to a place with two bedrooms etc. I am sooooo happy and I can’t wait to meet our little boy in March. It’s all about gods timing Kass❤️

I don't feel like there's ever a 'right' time, you would probably always find a reason not to try. The truth is though, when it happens, you make it work, it just becomes your new normal. You are still very young and no-one knows what the Universe has in store for any of us, sometimes its just best to let things 'happen', its not until you look back with hindsight that you can answer the questions you have now. You said said if it happenes now, you would both be excited, maybe thats an answer!

Loved the story about PresLee and Ledger. Years before I had my son, my daughter and I both had dreams of him. She was a toddler at the time and would wake up from sleep and say “I was in space with my baby brother.” I also had dreams of him and what he looked like snd he would talk to me about who he is and his plan. Several years later, surprise! A baby brother who looked exactly the same as I had dreamed him.

I’ve always trusted my inner feeling/intuition. I did wait, until I was ready. These days we are lucky to have a choice. Just a few generations ago, women didn’t have a choice. I think you will know when you are ready. If you feel ready, you enjoy the whole experience and wonder more. It’s a wanted baby, and you weather the tougher times better. I do know you will be awesome parents when you do have children. But do what is right for you. Don’t feel pressured. You need to be happy and relaxed when it’s time. I thought your outfit lovely and comfy! And a wee tiny bit Princess Leia, but in the best way. Thanks for sharing, God bless!

My husband and I got pregnant with our first when we were 18 so we had to grow up quickly (had him at 19), perfect little angel child. Very smart, always ahead of kids his age, very respectful and listened well. Our second son we had at 24 and I had multiple medical issues after having a c-section with him... He's quite the opposite of our oldest. Colicky baby, he's allergic to pretty much everything except fruits, vegetables and plain meat, and he's behind other kids his age (we baby him so much because of his allergies so it's partly our fault.) Since having him I got my tubes removed completely at 26. I feel sad about it a lot, but I know the 2 sons we have need us and throwing more kids into the mix wouldn't be any good for us. Anyway, no children, pregnancies, births or chapters of life are the same. I envy you for taking your time and really thinking through getting pregnant. That's truly amazing. Also, your mom is pretty great and so wise. I am part of the NEN fam KZbin channel so I enjoy all of your guys' content. Happy Holidays. 🙂

You have so many years to have a baby. My first was born in the middle of my 20’s and I had tons of experience with kids, always babysitting, siblings and cousins and I was still in shock when I had to take care of a newborn 24/7. When that reality hit me that I was responsible for another life and my life was never going to be the same, it was shocking. It was also amazing and beautiful and hard. Motherhood will transform and change you snd make you grow and you will be amazed at who you become. You’ll see your strengths and the love inside you blossom. It’s important to know that you can be strong through it all and during those difficult times in the beginning know that it won’t last forever. And someday you will miss it! I am sad that I didn’t have more than the kids I have. I wish I had. It goes by way too fast like the older ladies will always tell you! Babies and kids are everything! They are a joy and light up the world. Your mom knows this which is why she’s got so many. If I had had a good marriage and the funds to do what she’s done I would have. It’s what I had dreamed of as a little girl. You have everything ahead of you and everything will happen at the right time. 😊

Our son is turning one in dec. It took us over a year to get pregnant using ovulation tests and all the things. I was also high risk during the pregnancy. The journey to our son definitely was hard with getting negative tests cycle after cycle and then dealing with the rough pregnancy too. Honestly that all changes the second you hold your baby. It is honestly the best feeling in the world. All the sudden you have this little person🙂. Our son kye was taken from me after about 2 hours and rush to the NICU. I am going to be 100% i still have ptsd from that. We also started trying for a second baby around June and August 29th we suffered a miscarriage at 5 weeks.👼

I'm now with a different guy in a much healthier relationship. We were not trying, just not preventing and I feel like it happened at the right exact perfect moment. Unfortunately pregnancy has brought out some people's true colors so I've had to remove a lot of toxic people from my life, but overall it's been a very magical experience. Being a mom is so hard but it is also the best in the world, And I wouldn't change it for anything. You'll have your good days and somedays you'll feel like you failed as a mom, (Then you'll have your kid come up to you and say "I love you mommy, You are the best in the whole wide world") and all your doubt about yourself at that moment will go away. Don't stress about having kids. You are young, you have plenty of time. When the time is right, you'll know. :)

We got pregnant after 2 months, but sadly lost our first baby to miscarriage. Afterwards I was afraid to try again and took a break for a few months to heal, and got pregnant again on the first try. It can be very scary and I still wonder sometimes how I'm going to be able to do it, but I am grateful for the life God has given us. It's perfectly okay to wait longer if you don't feel ready, but just know that any blessing you are given by God he will allow you to become prepared in time.

Whenever *you* personally feel ready. While it is important to discuss these things with your partner and they will be a part of this journey, you will be the one carrying the child and likely doing a lot of rearing. You are so young! Do things you’ve always wanted to do or try first because once a child is in the equation, you may have less time to do those things! Do a LOT of research and reading about pregnancy and experiences from mothers. Pray on things too.
