Yes. The utter unrestrained glee as the realisation dawns that, finally, her daughter is going to understand where she's been coming from all these years and will at last appreciate the depth of her love, allowing their relationship consequently to deepen. It's quite selfish really, if you think about it. Or if you think about it like that, to be more fair and accurate. You could conceivably think about it in an entirely different way, where that was not the forgone conclusion.

The greatest lesson I have learned is from these growing families in these videos, It's their absolute unadulterated joy that they all feel for bringing new life into the world to me It is truly a blessing and so much more special than anything else I've seen to date in my life!. I pray that one day I'll have the financial stability to raise such a family and find that special someone to share it all with till we pass!... I'd like to have the kindest and sweetest thoughts for all the young people who - for some reasons - did not receive all of this joy and bliss when they made that same annoucement. Some parents cannot deal easily with emotions... with their (or your) past... or simpy with time passing by. However...if you read me now as you're expecting : they will often become the most protective, caring, loving grandparents EVER. Even if all this joy we're shown here, will come later or in several times...don't doubt you and your tiny one will receive it. ❤ take care !!

BABS AND KARINE: I believe that what had happened was the mom-to-be had purposely given her mother in law an inappropriate gift for Hanukkah, setting the in-laws up for the REAL present, a Grandchild! The mom-to-be IS clearly trying to NOT smile, but as the wrapping paper comes off you can clearly see her start to smile. And when her mother in law sees the gift (I believe it is an ultrasound image of the baby.) you can clearly see that the M.I.L.WAS set up, so that the news took her totally by surprise!

My father had a hard time reading. Because of his dyslexia/ADHD not being diagnosed until he was a middle age adult, it was to late for early learning intervention. He grew up in the 60-70s so they really didn't know much about it then. He was an engineer for the federal government and did well for our family. He's passed now.
