Bleeding is normal after a cervical exam. The bleeding often lasts a day or two. This type of bleeding is usually light, it should not be like a menstrual flow. If the bleeding is heavy you should call your doctor

This is perfectly normal. These "soft signs" do not influence or predict what your labor will be like.

Hi. My 1st baby ( male) was 2 weeks late ( 42 weeks) when my labor began. Baby was 9lb 4oz at birth. My 33 yr old daughter is 36 weeks with her first ( also a male). marsha okhiria no. That's doesn't mean baby is coming. But your body is getting prepped. No contractions. No dilating. And baby is -2 station. So not really down yet.
