I was exactly the same as you with how you felt towards birth! I had my little boy 7 months ago and I honestly think having such a chilled mindset towards it made it such a positive experience! I did the majority of my labour at home which definitely helped my labour to progress as I was so calm and chilled at home… I went into hospital at 8cm and had Rory in the pool 2 hours later with a tiny bit of gas and air, I caught him myself and it was THE most incredible experience of my life. I genuinely loved every second of my birth! I was home four hours later eating snacks on the sofa having newborn cuddles! I did The Positive Birth Company’s hypnobirthing course and it was a game changer! You’re going to be amazing and regardless of how he comes into the world, meeting him will be the most incredible day of your life. Being a boy mum is bloody amazing! I’ve been watching you since you started your channel and spent far too many hours, heavily pregnant slobbed on the sofa binge watching you! It so lovely to be able to follow your journey to being a mama! X

Hi Hannah, i like some of the names but they're all very modern and I suppose I just prefer older names. If you do manage to breastfeed, its the best feeling in the world. The bonding and the love when you look down at them. The first time I did it in the hospital, it was instictive and my baby moved up to my breast themselves. Magic and amazing. I think You'll be a natural at motherhood Hannah ❤

I was like you with the whole birth way, I was 17 when I had my 6 year old and I had my 2 year old at 21, both C-sections emergency and planned. Honestly wing it, as long as you and baby are safe. I also tried breastfeeding and I only managed a month with my eldest and I did 23 months with my youngest. But if you can’t breastfeed then so be it. A fed baby is more important. I find that there is so much pressure on new mums now a days with everything to do with pregnancy, birth,feeding etc. End of the day you mum do what you think is best🥰 Think all the names you have mentioned are cute. My boys are Logan and Cody☺️

I can’t recommend the book ‘hypnobirthing practical ways to make your both better’ by Siobhan Miller enough! I’ve had two births and I so wish I’d had this book first time around, it completely changed my second birth xx

I had the same attitude as you going into birth and it made it such a positive experience. I wrote a birth plan but he came early and I hadn’t printed it off so that went out the window. Just make decisions in moment that feel right for you ❤ I named my baby boy Jesse, unisex name, we waited to see what he looked like but we were pretty set on the name x

I’m watching this holding my two day old baby boy in my arms. Me and my bf had a boys name picked out for years too, and always said it would be our sons name. But during pregnancy when ppl kept referring to bump as that name it put me off so much, but my bf still always loved it. So I started saying wait until birth see if he suits it (to stop people saying it) and honestly I’m so glad I didn’t write it off as we used our original name. Think it was just pregnancy hormones tbh 😂

Also I was the same with birth blan and thank god, because nothing went to plan and I had to be put to sleep for my C section, and I really didn’t want one as I was scared of epidural.. but I’d do it all again in a heartbeat for him. And your instinct really kicked in, if you’re worried take them. Even if it’s nothing, we struggled with CPMA and the doctors were prob so fed up with me calling but I didn’t stop because I knew something was up xx

Greggs is my fave for coffee 😂 my mum had to have an epidural with me my cousin was a rushed c section emergency but i wish you all the best lovely and hope all goes well when the time comes i was so early my mum got no baby classes in before i arrived so at least you'll have some preparation 😂😅💖

Ahhh your boyfriend will come round to the name youre trying to persuade him to like! 😉😂 Before we even found out our second baby was another girl I was adamant if it did turn out to be a girl I wanted to call her Leni and my husband absolutely hated it! Like an absolute firm no 😂 That was until I had her and he was like 'I think its grown on me and she does look like a Leni' 🙊 so Leni she is 🥰 I did let him have full control over her middle name though coz I felt like he had just sort of given in to my 9 months of persuasion 😂 loving all the baby content! So excited for you. Its the absolute best (and hardest 😂) thing in the world ❤️ x

Yes 3 boys two girls and if u feel you need pain relief take it ....your gunna be fine breath and go with the flow you have the right mindset IV done natural and c section. Water ❤ think you will be fine with gas and air it's all in the breathing bbe ❤

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can't have an epidural if you're having a water birth, for obvious reasons it wouldn't be safe.

@@HannahMarling Be careful with water births. Make sure the pool has been correctly cleaned before hand. I'm a domestic at my local hospital and 35+3 weeks pregnant. I 1000000% would NOT use them.

Im planning on having around 15 outfits for each age range. The main thing im buying are sleepsuits and rompers! I haven't got any vests/basics yet but I will probably get around 10 of those! People say don't buy too much but then also say you have to change them loads every day so Id rather have too much 😂xx

Please Hannah don't make a birth plan as honestly hun after having four grown up sons it went totally out of the bloody window as with my first son ( he's 27 years old now ) I asked the midwife half way through the 14 hour Labour does the pain get any worse and she smiled at me and said yes love , and as an over thinker like yourself I said Epidural asap Please and he was born vaginally ( like the other three ) but as he was getting tired inside me as I was on cloud nine with no pain after having an Epidural they had to get him out of me using forceps and cutting my vaginal . So what I'm trying to say is that these Stupid Bloody Birth plans 🙄🙄🤰 just Literally fly out of the window as you can see , I mean it's all well and good to think positive but when the push present comes to shove ( pardon the pun !!! ) I just think go with your gut instinct Lovely 🥰 and it goes without saying Good Luck 🤞 to you and your partner and your Little boy Xxx
