If you are only going to use the bassinet for awhile, you could diy and padded board on top of the crib by the bathroom with baskets underneath for the baby items. I think on top of your chester drawer would be perfect! I agree, it's a little high, but could work. You can use one of the drawers for the babies cloths, etc and put a basket on top for diapers, wipes and etc. Your are so glowing pregnant 😊

I relate to the small room struggle! We also had our baby’s changing mat on top of our dresser. Or even right next to your bed on the side table maybe? If you get one with sides baby can’t roll so it’s still safe. We strung tiny lights around our dresser mirror and in the middle of the night it was the perfect amount of light. Absolutely wouldn’t think you’d need to buy another furniture just to change the baby but that is up to you! Another option is to store the mat and change baby in the floor, which is very handy once baby is bigger. Perhaps you could also find a foldable changing table that you can fold up when not in use, like during the day.

I'm in my early 70's and we had 5 wonderful children who are all adults now with their own little family's to love and dote over. Seeing your videos of your family life is so precious. Not having a nursery is fine & I understand it seems like a hike for you the way your layout of your home is. I would do a changing area on your dresser like you mentioned. It's only gonna be for a little while. Excited to hear what her name is gonna be !! 🩷

You are such a sweet lady 💕 water birth is wonderful! I had a wonderful experience with that for my 1st one 2nd one not enough time and way more pain 3rd one born in the shower which I actually liked better than sitting in water and you can regulate the water temperature that way too. I hope all goes smoothly with your delivery and postpartum!

I put a changing mat on my dresser for our last. Worked great but ours is not so high...

That looks like it will work by the door . Maybe switch the charging table with bassinet. The bassinet is movable and not used as long also . I am a grandma now ! I never heard of a birth plan . 😁 I have 3 adult children and I just went into labor and did what my body said each labor . Would be good to talk with your hubby about stuff though . Probably would have been a good idea for us 35 years ago !!! 😂😂😂 God bless !! ❤

I think there is enough room for a changing table between the 2 doors. I thought on top of the dresser would be good to set something up, but it might be too high for you. Praying for a safe fast labor and delivery for you💕

Praying for your Labor and Delivery! Biblically I believe you don’t need a Birthing Plan,your body definitely tell what you need to do! I also suggest research about giving birth in the water, it isn’t Biblical. Yet, I too experience when in Labor that a hot shower was relaxing.

Do your lips and fingernails look bluish or grayish, ?? Shortness of breath. ??? Anemia or low Oxygen . Just a observation

I did have lower iron earlier in pregnancy, thankfully it's some better now. Thank you for the info!
