I am so happy for you all with this little man! I have been watching you since the very very beginning. My heart broke for you with the news of the losses that you experienced but I am so happy to know that you’re so close to meeting him! So excited for you Fleur! My little guy is six months now but he was super duper active and night and the kicks were violent! All knees and elbows. I had a big baby boy 9 lbs 1 oz for my first and I hear you when you were saying it’s hard to roll over sleeping!! That was the hardest at the end. Also those kicks all the time, that boy is going to be ACTIVE :)

I had the exact same with the nerve and swelling legs. I would take my dog for a walk get halfway round and she would sit on a nerve and I would just have to wait till she moved again. Said baby is now 12 in two days listening to you took me right back. Hope it all goes well x

This was like deja vu for me back in February(I also had a large baby boy for baby #2). My second pregnancy was a doozy and the pelvis pain was rough, but he is a dream. 2nd babies are so much less stressful. Only 2 more weeks to go, you can do it!

We had a elected c section for both our 2nd and 3rd children as our first child was born naturally but passed away from placental isssues that were not picked up until after birth, im so glad you are going the safer route for you and your baby

You are looking well and I pray for a safe labor and delivery. Both of children's births were in January and June. The late June baby was born during a heat wave which is unusual for June, but it was dreadfully hot and very ready for the baby to come than with pregnancy than a winter birth. My early January baby was born at it was absolutely freezing cold and snow all over. It's amazing what you remember about during that time of your life.

When we had our second baby my husband took some time off work to help our son adjust to his new baby brother and it was the best idea we could’ve had. We took turns with who played with our son and who played with the baby and then we would have a few hours a day that they spent together and we increased it every few days until my husband start work again and they would spend the whole day together. I remember one time when the baby was doing tummy time he’s fed up a little and before I could even get up his older brother ran over with a burp rag and wiped it up for me.

So happy for you and Mike!! And yes, the first pregnancy is pretty easy but subsequent get worse and worse! I had my last at 40 and I had to nap every afternoon. Everyone knew not to bother me for fear of death. 😂😂 Also, summer babies def are harder than winter babies. I ran around downtown Chicago pregnant in the winter without a coat and felt fabulous. 😂

My son was measuring big my entire pregnancy, he came out at 10 pounds naturally - how I wished I’d had a C-section!! My second was 8.5 so felt like a dot compared to my first lol hope all goes smoothly xx

I definitely found the second pregnancy much harder as you can't really rest in the same way as you have another child to look after but I definitely felt much better and quicker at getting back to feeling more human again after giving birth.

My experience was exactly opposite from yours. Mine are 7 years apart. I am a grandma now. But my son was first, I gain 50 pounds. He kicked my ribs and made it hard to breathe. I had leg cramps so bad. Our son was so happy with his sister until she was able to invade his room.

I'm at the end o my first trimester and I use no rings because my hand swell a lot. I also did not have swelled legs or feet in my first pregnancy but this one I do think I will have towards the 3rd trimester because I don't walk as much and my legs are already feeling tired. But I feel a lot more tired this pregnancy than the first one and I do think it's for these very hot days.

I was 34 with my second too. Also my first was 4 round time I was preg. I had my 2nd in 2020. Oldest is a girl at 7 yrs old and a little boy at 2 yrs old this year. I think pregnancies just get harder each time. I’ve just had my third (and I had 5 losses- 4 in a row, so was pregnant for years) and this last pregnancy was rough. But then I had 2 kids to care for. Have to get up at 6am, worked until 41 weeks and am now back at work 6 weeks PP (damn the shitty £150 maternity pay). I was soooo Done at the end! No more babies! X

As far as kicks, I've had the same experience! My daughter was like "aw, cute baby kicks" but with this little boy its more like "ow, he's trying to break my pubic bone!" 😂

My first and second childs age difference is 4,5 years. They are both girls. I remember when my older one was three years old and one day came home from kindergarden and told us that she wants a brother. Father of course said that only mother can help you with that problem. I tried to tell her that are you sure, little babies cry, then they grow older and want to take away your toys etc. She looked at me like i was totally stupid and sayd: " I want older brother!" So I sent her back to daddy, because only he can help with that (maybe 🤣😂). But after the little sister was born she was a huge help. Somehow she was so grown up. When smaller one stater to turn and changing nappies was a disaster as she wiggled away all the time my older (almost 5 by that time) somehow managed to change the nappies without any problem. Still cant figure out how. With me she wiggled, later started to crawl away but with older sister she stayed totally still while she changed her nappies. Sisters bond i guess. Wishing you all the best! Riv is going to be a wonderful older sister.
