interesting podcast. I'm diabetic, however, I'm not type 1. I am inspired by your content though. I watch your content here only and you are one major inspirational person to all diabetics out there. I use dexcom g6 and MDI, but I'm coming to terms with switching to a pump after your demo videos. =) thank you for what you do!

I am myself diabetic type 1 and currently 7 months pregnant. I use the tandem Tslim along with Dexcom CGM. I can attest that if it wasn’t for this technology, I wouldn’t have felt confident or comfortable to carry a baby. I was able to achieve 5.6 A1C and maintained a 5.7 while checking it every 6 weeks since then with a TIR of 70% or higher; however the emotional and mental toll on the mother is immense. I can’t imagine going through this or sleeping well at night without a reasonably reliable CGM that is integrated with my pump. That said, I upgraded with g7 a couple of months ago and unfortunately it was a downgrade in reality. I went back on g6 until Dexcom improves g7 accuracy and gets approved for additional insertion sites as the arms have several drawbacks. Lastly, thank you for the great content! 😊

I was just diagnost with type 1 diabetes (blurry vision, thirst and fasting blood sugar at 2.50g (HbA1c 11.8%) and had a baby project but i have to reschedule it until i lower my HbA1c to 6.5.
