In the United States they would never leave a baby in those conditions. The baby would be placed in foster care until the father was in a decent safe home. There are shelters that he could have gone and stayed that would help him find employment, housing, and childcare. I don’t know how he could walk away leaving a poor helpless baby there.

Grow up Soghra. Your an adult woman so lock your door and neither Rude or anyone else can enter your apartment unless you decide to let them in. It is so wrong to have to have a babysitter for yourself by bothering others to sit with you when Jamal is not there. You should never have children in your care if you can't be by yourself, occupy yourself, take are of yourself and be alone. You are bothering people unnecessarily to stay with you and that is so wrong. You can entertain yourself by reading, knitting, listening to music or how about cleaning and cooking because your not ill and yet you treat yourself as if you are........You didn't have a miscarriage, your pregnant and you are quite able to take care of yourself as well as your household responsibilities. You and Jamal are users.....takers.....You don't care that people who have families and household responsibilities of their own leave all that to come serve the two of you at your whim. Neither of you have ever done the same for any others and the two of you are very selfish people.. You deserve each other.......
