They didn't curtsey to her because she isn't a queen, no other reason. You only curtsey to the ruling monarch, King or Queen, and sometimes their spouse depending on house rules. Nothing to do with the 'current world'. And apart from all that, I think the ease and informality of their interactions with the public (or 'their subjects' in archaic terms if you like) is cool, modern and more approachable as it should be, without being uncivil or disrespectful.

Kandy Kandy No, you haven't got 'the right to judge' - the freedom to comment maybe, but not the right to judge. You claim that your experience of life somehow validates your predictions - not so, my experience hasn't led me to the conclusion I can predict what will happen to other people - can't see why you're any different.
