Once I listened to this story of the two cats I felt very angry to learn that the evil human being who chose to kick a pregnant cat in the stomach was a woman. Absolutely despicable. How would this female, obviously without a soul, be able to cope if she were pregnant and was kicked in the stomach? This woman should be punished for such a cruel act to another life who was carrying little lives. Sometimes cats who give birth to weak kittens can abandon them if she feels that the kitten will not survive. Due to her experience of being kicked during pregnancy and having to go through a C section may have interfered with the bonding process. Thank you for caring for these mums and their kittens. I would, however, suggest that you give 'Big Dumb' a new name. She has been traumatized and treated appallingly by that brute who kicked her in the stomach, but certainly not dumb.

I suspect that Fox is Big's mom. I have seen bonded mother and daughter cats, giving birth just a week and a half apart, and they stayed with each other, and soothed each other, and both nursed, and tended to all of the babies. It was a beautiful thing to see. Big wasn't full term, so her hormones that get her ready for the birth, just weren't there, luckily she did get some milk, but the whole birthing experience is part of the bonding, and because she was so sick, and looking for who I think is her mom, that trauma and not bonding, and being in pain is just making her want her mom. Even if Fox didn't give birth to her, I think she has been caring for her for a while.

Maybe Big Dumb had a depression or - as another one said - Little Fox is her mother. But why letting the cats to the bird before the cage? That's not good for the bird and in addition, birds need other bird (at least one).

毎日餌をあげに行っているのに（結構な種類を）そんなに寒いところで「産む」という危険を考えなかったところが？？？ で、あんなに濡れているのに、普段と違う態度なのに何故か写してはいるのに無視。わからなかったじゃない、わかろうとしなかったのじゃない？と言う気が。蹴ったことに激怒と言うけれど、人それぞれで全ての民が猫かわいがりとも限らない、近づいて来れば蹴るということもありうると思わなかった？ 野良猫が増えることを嫌がる民もいる、ならば最初から保護して守るべきだったのではないかと思う。この６－７匹の子猫をどうするか考えていますか？今後の避妊は？飼うならそれなりの覚悟、飼えないなら里親探すべきだし・・中途半端で・・ この親同志の親しみ方は不思議。親子だったのかな？でも責任もって生かしてね
