Still baffles me on how the writers will portray the LM as being jealous by THINKING his wife cheated on him and getting abusively mad when his MISTRESS is already pregnant with his baby. The second he hit her, she should have divorced him, used every one of her daddy’s resources to get the evidence of all the mistresses lies and gotten a paternity test proving the LM was the father. Give him all the proof at once and then bankrupt his untrusting, abusive, cheating ass along with the mistress (because, where is she getting her money from to pay for all these hitmen?). If I was the LF’s father, I’d then knock the LM out cold and ship him to some desolate country that didn’t speak the language with no phone or money. Let the LM’s mother and mistress figure out how to live without the LM’s support…

The story should be, he throws her and a child out in the rain she gets sense as he ain't a man enough, at least for her. She files for divorce and a restraining order stating he is insane using this act as an example. She gets compensation after she does a court mandated paternity test and make sure he never again shows up in front of you without supervision. Oh, and mandatory monthly child upkeep as he should. He can keep his mistress.

Warning: My comment is only for the characters in the series. I respect the actors and their acting. I did not understand not only the male character but also the female character in this series. It's not normal to continue to have positive feelings for someone who drags you and your child around like garbage. As seen in this series, when the most important thing in a relationship is trust and respect, the rest comes naturally.

There's just way too much forgiving and forgetting in these dramaa. I believe in forgiveness, but if anyone ever committed the kind of abuse on me that FLs be getting, I would walk away and never look back....no matter how many times they get shot or stabbed trying to save me. I'll say thank you and even offer some monetary compensation, but never allow them back in my life. That so-called good guy 2nd ML tried to SA the FL and kept the info about her dad's killer. I'd be grateful he donated blood to my kid, but he could go pound sand.

Bro, I am not a huge fan of dramas like this. Like no hate to the actors but the characters are kind of annoying, especially the FL ( like where is your self-love and confidence) they always portray the FL as weak and stupid in love. The ML is so hypocritical, he had a mistress but then when his wife was seeing someone (which was a misunderstanding) he treats her badly and almost kills her and her baby. And at the end the FL goes back to the ML, that is so not realistic. She should have left and never looked back, since she is from a wealthy family, she could have gotten revenge and left. I really want to see more dramas were it doesn’t end like this.

Is Chinese women so docile these shows depict the women that are constantly abused getting their face slapped by everyone the mistress always or mostly wins. They are constantly choked as a method of abuse. Makes me sick to my stomach seeing that they are unjustly treated. And, finally at the end of the movie there is no end and nine out ten because of jealousy someone gets stabbed. But, no one dies. Writers you need to get real. Or is just a replica of every day life.
