Congratulations!!! So incredibly exciting 😍 Awesome overview of NFP, too - way to raise awareness 🙌 I'd definitely be interested in an NFP video, specifically about Marquette! I use symptothermal and am postpartum and also a bit confused by all the rules. I also just want to say what a beautiful thing it is to have a baby during Holy Week! I had my son on Tuesday of Holy Week this year, and with a rough birth, an extended hospital stay for me, and a NICU stay for him, it was definitely a new and powerful way to experience Holy Week. We all got to come home on Holy Saturday just in time to celebrate our first Easter as a family of three. Praying for a healthy pregnancy and a beautiful childbirth experience for you!! 🙏

I had three under three for a few weeks, no twins though! For me, it was the easiest transition yet. I felt like a pro with the baby. You’re constantly learning and hitting walls with the older ones, but having a baby is something I think moms tend to get better at. The baby is (usually) the easiest one in the house if there’s no medical issues! You’re also so much better at mentally preparing for possible sleep deprivation and have done most of the hard things before. It’s less shocking when it all happens again, and you always have a sense of the light at the end of the dark tunnels. Could be different with twins as the oldest children. My biggest recommendation is to get them to help out with the baby. Have them bring you a diaper or the pack of wipes or throw the diaper in the trash for you if it’s not too messy. They love to be involved at that age, and it helps them transition from being the babies to having that sense of older sibling responsibility when they feel like there’s a place for them in the family and with their new sibling. It will be a while before they can play with them or have a more active relationship, so helping them have some sense of caring for the new family member can be good for them. But kids just want to stay busy and you will be tired, so it’s a win-win that you can help them do things around the house when you want to rest. They won’t feel as bored or restless if you just need to be on the couch with the baby for a while!

I appreciate your realness and vulnerability in all of your videos, and the expression of the faith, it's awesome to witness. It's amazing and encouraging how the Lord works to bring connection and community between others whom we've never even met. Maybe you can answer this in a Q&A, but I was wondering if there were any specific Scripture and/or faith-based books that you found helpful/continue to find helpful, specifically speaking to the anxieties that come up in pregnancy? For example, it's difficult when I can't feel the baby move yet and my pregnancy symptoms are lessened now that I"m in the second trimester, so it's hard sometimes to wait and trust that things are ok while I await the anatomy scan. I am so grateful for therapy and a solid relationship with my OBGYN as well, but I know that this waiting season is a huge invitation from God to depend on Him, so I'd love to know any resources or practices you found that were/still are especially helpful. i had twins first and then a third and there was a real silver lining to have just one baby that it made it an easier transition than it might have otherwise been. but it's a lot - for the first time i experienced kids being on a different schedule - i am very lucky that my twins have always been on the same schedule. but you only have to feed one, diaper one, put one to sleep, get one out of the car.

Hi Katherine! Congratulations on baby #3!! I am due in March as well (~ the 15th), and my second was born 9/17/21. It will be our second 2.5 year gap with our oldest born on 3/19/19. I am also third born in my family so I feel connected to this little baby through that too, although we had a loss in between (MC in early May 🤍)!
