Ange lasted a lot longer than most of them. The fact he is still there seems to indicate that Levy still has hope for him. Some fans seem to think he just "needs more time." The "project" is off the rails right now, how much more time does it need? Richarlison hasn't played anything outstanding when he is on the pitch. What a bad purchase. The players are run into the ground, they all seem exhausted. I know I saw Porro as such. I still look to the head, that's where the fish rots first. Frank, tried and tested. I've just gone through, players bought in the prem, today. Compared spurs against the top teams. We've spent way more than I realised. City and Liverpool didn't spend crazy money for some of their top players. We keep buying the wrong players or spending too much for players underperforming. I think Ange should be performing way way better for the money that, surprisingly, has been spent. The narrative is that Levy doesn't spend. Maybe a good video for you to do, Barns. I really wanted Huissen in the summer. He was on loan at Roma last season and my Roma supporter mates were raving about him. He’s properly ambidextrous so can cover almost the whole back 4. I believe he’ll be VDV’s future Netherlands partner at CB once VVD eventually retires from international football or retires all together. My honest opinion on the caicedo tackle is that it was a strong yellow. It was a bad tackle but not that high and not intentional. For me Deki is a very lucky boy cause that was a stone wall red cause of the malice!

What is annoying about hearing that our manager may not "trust" someone like Djed Spence is that they go on "trusting" the likes of Bissouma when he's prone to rash decision making every couple of games. He also "trusts" Werner even though his output is erratic. So I just don't get it. The answer to our dreams as spurs fans is to be financially in the same league as Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool etc. But of course we’re not and therefore unable to attract the players required and secure depth to our squad. Although we have the finest stadium, we don’t have the best financial annual accounts. So let’s face it this is who we are; a club that is, under the circumstances mentioned, destined to be hovering between 6th to 8th in the premier league table. And until we find more heavy duty investors this is where we belong. So let’s stop blaming Levy, Postecoglu, the players or moaning about injuries. Romero foul leading to red was bad last season but he followed through after the ball. Caicedo was late, high and missed the ball. It should have been a red. It was hard to see during the game from the North stand I was in. Kulusevski one was naughty. But unsure if an accident or not. Harder to judge than the Caicedo one. These decisions don’t go for us. If they had 10 would have surely meant a win. Lavia played well and he had an injury and moving Caicedo into midfield helped them. It’s his position. Sarr, Solanke and Son missed chances were bad anc being clinical had cost us nearly all season. Plus we can’t keep conceding this many goals. Injuries huge, but have a plan B. Shut up shop for a bit. What Bissouma did to give ball away, then the penalty was absolutely criminal. I don’t see a future for him with him having such a small brain and being so rash. Sarr is much younger and will learn from his poor decision.

I've lost faith with Ange. Any manager needs to be able to implement plan B or plan C. If Ange cannot change he needs to go. I do like the style of football but it needs to have more of a backbone. The biggest improvement in the last year or so is that recruitment has improved in that the purchases are suited to the style the manager wants to play. With Conte and others the purchases were square pegs for round holes. IMO Djed Spence should have had more game time. For me he is a better full back for the system than Archie Gray (obviously if he plays and doesn't do well I may change my mind). Let's get Ashley Phillips back from Stoke. For the replacement managers, I would go for Thomas Frank. Whilst his style is not as attacking as we may want, his teams are very organised and over achieve. Let's stop doing back heals in our box and be a bit more pragmatic. Once we are in the opponent's half I all for playing a high line, pressing hard and doing the tricks.... just so long as we have a shape which allows us to defend if we lose the ball.

Thomas Frank overall is a better manager and coach than Ange so I would go for him. He will play the players in their correct position and have a nice balance of attacking and defending. Not this all out attack everytime.
