A small mistake sneaked into :It wasn't given, that AC=AD, Therefor we can't consider triangels ABC and ACD congruent, nevertheless a segment parallel to the basis AB can be drawn to construct a triangel congruent to ABC. It might be a segment CD (in case AC =AD), or another one CX, while AC longer or shorter than AD.

Before watching: x=22. Reason: Both green angles at A are identical given the information. Thus 180-101-x=(180-3x)/2= one of the green angles at point A. Solving this leads to x=22.

If angle CAB = Alpha. x + 101 = 3x + alpha ( external angle theory ). Alpha = ( 180 - 3x ) / 2 from triangle ABC. Alpha = 90 - 1.5x. Therefore, x + 101 = 3x + 90 - 1.5x. 101-90 = 0.5x. 11 = 0.5x x = 22.

Angle DAE =180 - 101 -x = 79-x By corr angles , angle CBA= angle DAE And by isoceles triangle, angle CAB=CBA HENCE , 79-x +3x+79-x = 180 x = 180 -79-79 =22
