@@Nikioko Maybe so, but there's a more recent similar problem with only one solution that involves some non-integers. I would never assume that solutions must be integers unless specified.

Using guess and check with a little logic, a solution becomes evident. But by doing this you show that there is a second solution. Guess and check people didn't even consider that, they just found a solution that worked and stopped thinking.

Sir I mean no offense when I say this, but these types of problems are starting to get a bit boring. I suggest doing problems that are more challenging, like math contest problems, or hard algebra, geometry, or even calculus problems.
