I RAGED FOR THIS 😡

The first 15 seconds hurt so much im making a rant No.1 KORRA DOESNT SOLO ANYONE korra is a vegetable in a wheelchair after going into the avatar state. she has the thickest plot armor in history. Aang had none of this he lost his connection to the avatar state, nearly died and was revived by a PLOT DEVICE not PLOT ARMOUR. korra somehow mastered 3 types of bending in 5 YEARS. she was 5 YEARS OLD. HOWWWWWW. THATS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE. this groundbreaking stuff is ONE of the many reasons i hate the series. No.2 The fighting scenes bending was a sacred art separate to all the different elements. firebenders had provocative, quick and dangerous movements. waterbenders had flowing, slower movements. airbenders were quick but as bumi said, they dodged and parried attacks. Earthbender movement was rigid and powerful. as toph said they had to keep themselves strong and unwavering. tlok has more punch kick movement for the stupid element ball fighting arena game (this was seen like once and never picked up again - a bad plot device) No.3 (i think) korra was a shallow character with no development. She went from angry to slightly less angry (or a vegetable in season 4) korra just had no character building arcs. she suffered a lot like rey from the sw prequels. they got everything they needed instantly and steamrolled their enemies with plot armor thicker than luffy. Aang didnt get much plot armor. He was a powerful guy for sure but he trained diligently to learn 3 more types of bending in like the span of winter-summer solstice. he learned from 3 people. korra needed her bending taken away and her boyfriend in danger to make one gust of wind. she had all these people helping her and she still didnt master her abilities by the time the series had started no.4 the actual plot (yes yes ive been yapping about the plot for a while but ill tackle the problems in it here) first off, the villains in tlok suck the first one was a cool guy sure. he could take away bending. but his defeat was so anticlimactic. it took korra a gust of wind and throwing him into water for him to be defeated - something all of the city couldnt do. his story sucked and the whole thing with his brother being a politian and his father being a good bloodbender hurt inside. it was random af. quick edit here: how did my silly little rant get pinned???? also aang solos man gotta disagree once more edit 2.0 heres a bit more so the second villain was her uncle. he became a huge spirit monster by abosrbing the spirit of evil and destroyed the spirit of raya inside korra. see any problems? this makes NO SENSE. she shoots a huge laser out of her chest. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. its just so dumb the third villain is the red lotus guy. he was a good character but the goal was so dumb. kill the avatar, free all nations and people TO ACHIEVE WHAT??? the ending was so corny as well. all the airbenders teamed up to make some dumb vortex. they destroyed an air temple - THE MAN LOVED THE AIRBENDERS - HE FOLLOWED IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS AND HE DESTROYED AN AIR TEMPLE ! logic 1000 man kuvira sucked. im not even explaining. she made a big robot out of spirit vines to attack the new grand city and somehow luckily bo lin couldntve just melted it with lava bending. total sense man ingeniuous edit 3: YEs i have more thats just how bad this series is the first and last scenes so the old airbdening guy comes to korra. thats a round trip across the WORLD- THE EARTH NATION TO THE SOUTHERN WATER TRIBE. he brings 3 kids, his PREGNANT WIFE on a bison ride. thats not something thats gonna happen realistically. KORRASAMI i remember first watching that ending and i was speechless. how did they manage it??? they - they took 4 seasons of (meh) charcter building AND DESTROYED IT WITH A SCENE OF 2 PEOPLE HOLDING HANDS. IT WOULD BE LESS BAD IF IT WAS TOPH AND KORRA. KORRASAMI MAKES NO SENSE

I'd say both shows are about equal. Avatar is a cartoon made for little kids yet goes over some harsh life topics and the storyline is really good. The same thing can be said for Korra too though. The animations are definitely better and there is a lot of cool action that you would see in a regular anime. It also has good storyline and the lore that's revealed in it is absolutely crazy. But lets all be real, Avatar just brings back the old nostalgic Nickelodeon memories. We can all agree that that show was probably the first sorta anime like genre that we as kids watched. Both are 10/10 shows in my opinion.
