Who else thought they were gonna be disappointed and ended up being amazed? Haha. Not a fan of the BATB segment but the rest.. wow. Dreams is still my favorite, but this one is on par with it for sure. And that Star Wars scene is friggin' awesome.

There isn't really a story in the show like Dreams with the shadow of Peter Pan. But it's nice to watch, there not so many boring scènes and there is not talking, and that's a good thing. Just music, scènes and fireworks.

I believe it is transition music, but I could be wrong. I've only ever heard it during World of Color and I was surprised to see it here.

For some reason I'm not that wild about this one. There's not that much cohesion or smooth fades to the next chapter as Disney Dreams. And allthough I love the new Beauty and the beast, these scenes do not make good scenes for projections. And I'm missing some good videomapping that Dreams had like the scene from Friend like me from Aladdin. And I know Disney bought the Star Wars-franchise but can someone please tell me what the hell this scene does in there? It's Disney, it's characters, it's cartoon, it's colours... And they add this? I wished they only kept this for the Star Wars celebration at the Studios and not in the main park where it simply doesn't blend in. It's a decent show but I'm really lacking the excitement and the fun Dreams gave me.

It's a little out of place indeed, maybe just like Pirates. It would be better if the story was a tour of the Disneyland Park having scenes from all the land...that would me more sense. I think the Beauty and the Beast scene is just for this year, they can easily replace it with something else.

Maybe they do it because in Disneyland, Anaheim Star Wars scenes is well welcomed. Thou I grew up at Disneyland and the Star Wars Ride has been there since the 80s. I'm a star wars fan only because I grew up with Disneyland Star Tours. So maybe that is why Star Wars at Disneyland is a norm for me and I'm sure for a lot of people growing up at original Disneyland. The only reason I was very angry with the new Star Wars Land is because they should had left the outlined of the park how it was because it is the only park that Walt Disney himself design and put his energy and love into the park. They should had build Star Wars land around the park like Mickey Toontown. But oh well. I said before and i'll said again, your show is amazing! Third time seeing it here. :)

Saw it last night, it was pretty amazing! But I can't say if it's better than Disney Dreams :/ I absolutely loved the first part with the Lion King and the Little Mermaid, beautiful ! Kinda unsure about Star Wars here, sure I'm not the biggest fan in the first place, but I would have prefered to see the old characters like Darth Vador & Co instead of those from the latest movie, more iconic ! PoC worked really well on the castle imo As for Beauty and the Beast, I loved the movie but was expecting to see the animation version here Can't really stand Frozen and Let it Go anymore, it's being shoved down our throats for years now and it's kinda annoying tbh? And I can say I'm not the only one since a lot of people beside me went "ugghh" when the first notes came XD Still liked the last part of the segment though I loved that they used Mickey as the recurring character, but I would have liked him to actually speak like Peter and Wendy beforehand. And there was an actual story in the first show with Peter's shadow travelling in the different movies and beign the central thread but here, there's no real coherence between each scene, pity! Would love the hear other opinions on this one :) Still really loved it but I guess I'm more critical since I loved Disney Dreams so much

I'd have to agree with you. Disney Illuminations would've been better if it's a big story like Disney Dreams. It should be about Mickey travelling in the different Disney movies to demonstrate the coherence between each scene, until it culminates in an epic finale against the villains, like Maleficent. But still, the fireworks and lights are pretty impressive! Oh, and about the Frozen segment? If it were placed in the middle of the show instead of the finale, we wouldn't have been bored to death. But since you can't stand it, I understand how you feel. Everybody's got problems, dude.

For me to show the frozen scene in French is a really bad idea, because most of the visitors of Disneyland are not from France and they know the songs on the original voice but no in French. It's a scene that a lot of people is not going to understand...

Well...that's not completely correct. Most of the visitors in Disneyland Paris are French. But indeed I also want more English. But as the Resort is in France...they always have to put in some French too. But Frozen didn't have to be part of the show for me, as we had enough Frozen past years.

As a french, I can tell it was actually nice to have so many french songs in this show. Disney Dreams had more english songs and while I loved it dearly, it was a bit frustrating because you know you're at Disneyland PARIS. I get your point of view though because Frozen was such a huge success but I saw it last night and was very happy about it being in french :D

Disneyland París as told as Eurodisney, is a disney park not only for French people, is a park for Europeans. I understand you and I think that you're right, but in my opinion they had to put something in French and something in English in all the scenes.
