No it would not, as an aesthetician i would recommend salicylic acid for keratosis pilaris. I have it myself and i exfoliate once a week with a scrub or a dry brush and use a salicylic acid cream or serum.

the sweat comes out of the pore? You still can, hair helps wick away sweat so it evaporates faster which means you're more cooled down by sweating, so you don't need to sweat as much to stay cook, so you don't need as much water to survive. But it's quite minimal.
