Bra Andile I know you're very objective and I understand your line of thought but the premier Ntate Panyaza Lesufi can't be defended without sounding stupid, I'm sorry my brother. There was no way the team could succeed in the long term with that man's name attached to it, he's good at starting things but can't finish anything. He's that bad. If you want to know the premier go look at township schools in Gauteng, when he was the MEC he wasted money in the form of smartboards which aren't working as we speak, the tablets issued to learners were retrieved and are gathering dust in some warehouse, getting placement for entry grades in schools is a nightmare primarily because of the online platform that he introduced. As a premier he employed cleaners via "nas'ispani" but they don't have equipment and aren't reporting for duty, bought BMWs to enforce security in our townships. BMW with all the potholes and dirt roads? Not very practical, even a grade 12 learner would be able to realise that. The list goes on and on, I'll never trust ntate Panyaza with money. How he manages to fail in every single project is beyond comprehension. He's very good at talking by the way, he can sell you tyres even if you don't own a car. He resigned? He was not really telling the truth! This is a man who lied with a straight face to people of Gauteng that they'll be able to go to any private hospital after the 29th May, I'm very happy the people rejected him through their votes. Remember when he disappeared after lying about a consortium that was to buy a team to bring swallows back? I personally have zero regard for the premier. Owning a team requires money, it's a world wide phenomenon. If you buy a team with the hope that it'll sustain itself (through supporters and sponsors) then you're having a terrible dream, it's not possible especially in Africa, Mr Mogashoa and the premier knew this surely. I remember when they brought Andile Jali, coach Steve Khompela and others to the team only to play with them, now they want to blame supporters? Ke bogafi bo

Moraka Swallows Chair and mgt team should have shared these issues with shareholders by engaging them more than ignoring these guys. They knew that sponsors always need to verify the potential big supporter base but they, mgt, 49:39 never had a relevant strategy to consolidate by involving supporters to assist them grow the brand. Now they feel they were not supported. Theirs is a classic example of poor management and lack of 49:39 foresight, nothing else describes the outcome of this. Andile you u are unfair in your boxing of what supporters should have done..the root cause of lack of support still goes back to the office of the Davids of this world. They never tried what they should have done from day 1. Inclusivity even in world recognised teams grows the brand and crowds to the stadiums. Why would one be motivated to support a team that never attempts to do activations and approaches any new supporters. Many swallows old supporters are not young and mobile enough anymore as much as it was an institution. It was time to regenerate through targeting youths and young families for swallows by growing a new base again, which could have been done with the proper revived loyal few motivated groups which claim were excluded by the current mgt teams, whom Andile seems to be sympathetic too. It's a sad conclusion. There is my myopic thinking one would say.Its just different opinions and a hard world I guess.

Andile I have to agree with some comments regarding your apparent bias against supporters who are genuinely concerned for the club. You seemed quite understanding when Panyaza communicated his end of the challenges however dismissive when supporters speak and that is unfair as I believe these are people who want this club to succeed. It must also be noted that it is the responsibility of the club to look for sponsors as other successful teams do. At the back of that, as supporters, I think it is good that Panyaza mentioned the lack of financial support through the purchasing of tickets. That does have a huge impact. Swallows is historically big, sad to see all this unfold in this manner. As someone suggested, maybe they must partner with Bloemfontein. There's a flood of supporters that side of life.

Truth hurt, the man in the studio had a point of not being consulted about the decision as stake holders which the Premire admitted n apologized. Who can still blame the final decision to sell this team after all those challenges were outlined? Am a Chiefs fan n I'd love to see this team retain its name n location after all unlike what happened to Bloem Celtic.

On this interview Andile failed dismally. His comments and questions displayed his baise. This is a great shame. Our journalists and leaders are of such poor quality its scary. Moroka Swallows is a historic brand that should be protected by all kinds of means. All were happy when Panyaza got involved only to find out that he also could not come up with a suitable sponsor in 4 years. With all his position and status he could not get 1 good sponsor for the team. That person is expected to run a province that is big enough to be a country. Mr Mayekiso is sitting here telling us that as supporters they managed to bring on board a credible sponsor yet Panyaza and his team refused to listen to them. Even Andile is in front of us refusing to follow this line. He chooses to ignore Mr Mayekiso and lead us to nonsensical rambling of Panyaza. Where is journalism ethics. What happened to asking questions? This whole thing is very embarrassing. And its very hard for us people who love our country and its historic institutions. Same thing happened to Celtic. With the biggest support base it was mismanaged the sold for a dollar. At some point Swallows had one of the largest fan base. It use to play in a competition of 4 clubs with the largest following. These new owners could not revive the branches and Andile again intensional refused to follow this lead. Why? What Mr Lesufu is telling us amounts to the fact that he is incapable of managing an institution yet he is given a country to run. And we are surprised why things are going south in South Africa. This is a shame. Journalists are the watchdogs. They have a moral responsibility to ask relavent questions. That help leaders to see their short-sightedness. A journalist represent us, he needs to ask constructive questions. We all know Andile is very well capable of doing that, that is why we love his show and on the very same show he done that to Pauline yet when it comes to where it matters most he just disolves into a sweet darling of Mr Panyaza and start to call hin Ntate. Yet he called Mrs Pauline by her first name even though she told him that she was over 60 years old. She is a relic of Moroka Swallows yet we can't ask why was not all stake holders views taken into consideration. This is typical, very typical. Its a huge embarrassment.
