Wow, awesome yarn haul, $3 a cake !!! WOW, that's amazing, that's only $4.47 in Aussie money, in our shop here they would normally be minimum $20, I guess in one way I'm possibly glad I didn't know about this because I would have spent a lot more than $80 and I really got to use up what yarn I do have already I've got like three tubs full of yarn which doesn't seem much but my kids are complaining I've got too much yarn but I have a tub of cotton a tub of 8 ply which is like your DK and then a type of thicker yarn which I don't really like thick and I don't like to use much more than a 4 mm hook I prefer to use smaller because using larger hooks tend to hurt my hands, well well done to you on getting a great yarn haul 😂🎉❤😊💖👌🌹🌹🌹🎁😍🇦🇺🇦🇺

Heavier weight yarns also hurt my hands, so I tend to avoid using them as well. Whenever I acquire a skein of yarn heavier than a 5, I usually donate it or put it in one of my giveaways.
