Doubt it. He gotta step up his defense and improve in areas that Inoue is better at to have a chance. Donaire still goes for timing openings for his counter left hooks. That leaves him open for Inoue to deliver hits, and his vicious body shots

And the whole punching when u have openings is negating the opportunity to get countered… so ur point doesn’t really make sense. If Donaire only throws his left when he has openings that means he won’t get countered to the body. In fact, I would say that Inoue leaves himself open for a left hook counter whenever he goes for that liver shot.

@@harryburganjr.969 We're talking Donaire vs Inoue here, not Oubaali. Oubaali's not even in the same level as Inoue. Donaire loves to land his left hook and I think that sacrifices his overall skills as a boxer which was more evident earlier in his career when he used to throw hands more aligned with everything else, of course. All that changed after knocking out Darchinyan. From there on it was always focus on countering with the left hook leading to Donaire losing some rounds because he refuses to throw hands. Look how the first Inoue fight turned out... Inoue got tested resulting in him eating all of Donaire's best shots, including the left hook that injured his eye socket. Yet Inoue kept going and outboxed Donaire in the remaining rounds. Wish I could say Donaire has what it takes to beat Inoue in the rematch but his last few fights doesn't convince me much. Let's see what happens but I got Inoue. He's younger, hungry, strong, fast, technical and adaptive.
