A lot of people missed Castro got wobbled at the final round there. Fulton doesn't hit hard, but he landed a LOT of shots and that builds up over the fight. Castro was half there that final minute; another 2 rounds and he might have gotten knocked out.

From a person who has boxed with amateurs, and amateurs turning into pros (look up Sanchez Boxing Gym, or Jason Sanchez, and Jose Luis Sanchez, trainers at the gym) this was my analyzation on the fight. I thought it was close, but Fulton dogged out the win in my eyes. Fulton v Castro Round 1: Sharp jabs, nice pop shotting with a somewhat tight but relaxed guard, good defensive movements, Castro had a nice solid jab that tagged Fulton somewhat, but I favor Fulton's work to the body and head more. 10-9 Fulton. Round 2: Better counter shots from Fulton, makes Castro miss slightly before making him pay with a nicely angled overhand right, or a check hook. Still good jabbing from Castro, but his backwards movement with little countering doesn't win him the round, in my eyes. 10-9 Fulton. Round 3: Castro had the better start and end to the round, catching Fulton with good flurries, at the beginning and near the end. . although the middle round was mostly Fulton working to get his hits back, I could see this being a more Castro favored round. Here I would say it's 10-9 Castro (possibly 10-10 Round). Round 4: Obviously, a Fulton round, just good punching placement, and precise countering off the high guard. Makes Castro eat check hooks, and right hands whenever he gets a little laid back. 10-9 Fulton. Round 5: While Fulton has good work early in the round, a lot of it gets destroyed by a knock down from Castro throwing a 1-2, that catches Fulton with a clean right hand, straight down the pipe (around 2ish minutes). After that, Fulton goes into survival mode, using lateral movement to move around the ring, as he tries to slow down/stop the pressure of Castro; by shelling up on the ropes, and clenching when he gets the chance. While, he does catch Castro a few times with some well-placed counters near the end; it just isn't enough. 10-8 Castro. Round 6: Fulton a bit more dominate with his jabbing at the beginning, which catches Castro off at the start before he attempts to get his jab back in the fight. But, Fulton just seems to catch him with jabs to the face and a nice counter right hand every time he tries to throw. Fulton in this round is doing very well just defending with his catches, and parries, which allows him to counter Castro whenever he gets the chance. Overall, just a very dominate round by Fulton, makes Castro miss, and then catches him with a stiff jab, or a nice overhand right. 10-9 Fulton. Round 7: Fulton does well at the beginning, a few nicely timed counters, where he throws his right hand, before ducking forward with it as he moves to punch. Allowing him to not get hit by any possible counters from Castro. Though, the round progresses as Castro gets his revenge with flurries and combos, pressuring Fulton to the ropes. As he starts to piece him up with body shots to the ribcage. Overall, a brawly round, in which I would favor the fast eye-catching combinations from Castro. 10-9 Castro. Round 8: Fulton starts off strong with 3 left hooks to the dome from the inside, then goes right back to work with hooks, and feints to get his lead hand in punching range of Castro. Around the middle, Castro catches Fulton with a counter right as he gets relaxed with his defense, causing Fulton to stumble a bit before catching him again, with a flush left hook. Although, Castro seems unable to capitalize on this moment, as Fulton uses footwork, to move around, with nice head movement/defense, to smother any further offense from Castro. Overall, I believe this is a 10-10 round, Castro did good, but Fulton's work throughout the early portion of evened it out for me. Round 9: A back and forth round, as Fulton and Castro jab at each other, attempting to throw combos on the inside. While, Fulton does well with smothering the offense of Castro, Castro does well boxing with Fulton. Near the end though, Fulton steps on the gas catching Castro with nice shots from on the inside. 10-9 Fulton. Round 10: Fulton is just dogging it out this last round, throwing punches whenever he gets the opportunity. Doing a much better job at letting his hands goes. 10-9 Fulton. Overall Scoring: 96-94 Fulton

I'm sorry but I think this was a draw at best. Fulton did not look good here. I know he had the layoff but even keeping that in mind, I just feel like his lack of power is really gonna hurt his career. He's got the heart and drive, but I think he needs to work on his mindset more and his approach to fights to offset his lack of power. I think he could still do well and win more convincingly but he needs a better strategy.

@brycetrent One of the things that was wrong here was that he stayed on the line to much. He got caught with shots he shouldn't of got caught with. Yeah he didn't fight here like he fought figueroa or roman. Didn't move his head enough. That's why his nose started to bleed early. This guy should of been easier then those other fights. Something didn't turn on for him as you saw.

Rounds 1 2 4 7 were super close could go either way. Fulton won 6 9 10 decisively. Castro won 5 8 decisively with the 5 being a knockdown. You can't say fulton outclassed or dominated with how close a lot of the rounds were. This was a tough fight for fulton

Fulton has been out for over a year (leave PBC if they can’t get you fights bro…Inoue has fought 4 times since he fought Fulton) and is going life or death at featherweight vs a non-champion who lost to Luis Nery and got knocked out by Brandon Figueroa… I don’t like his chances against the champions. He’s aiming for Nick Ball but I think Nick Ball gives Fulton a lot of problems if Fulton has no pop in his punches after moving up in weight. Especially if Fulton fights him next without acclimating to the weight.

Yo I said the same thing the whole fight! He didn't move his head and stayed directly on the line for to long. Rule number 1 in boxing is get on the line and get off. If your gonna be on it, make sure your doing something to keep your opponent from throwing a punch like putting the jab out there, other then that, stop standing directly in front of your opponent for a long period of time. That's why his nose was bleeding early. Taking jabs he wasn't even supposed to be taking.
