The more I watch those AI videos the more I think it won't solve any problems. It's good for fixing things like removing objects or set extension (generative fill). I can't find where to use fully generated videos.

Yeah, I don't think the goal is to create fully generated videos, but to assisted in specific tasks, like a treatment pitch or filling in a gap.

@@PremiereGal Maybe. I want to level up my videos with AI video. For example, video where I walk with the dog and change dog to a tiny t-rex. Or my car transforms into Optimus Prime. Or change sticks to a lighsabers without me going to AE for tracking and adding this simple effect manually. At least it should be able to add rain in videos which I shot.

What we really really really really really need.. Is AI generated transitions and Key Frame Animations. I can't tell you how time consuming it is making custom key frame movements for every single little edit. This is what we actually need,... expand comment. "Scale PNG to 80" Place on bottom left screen 20% from the top and bottom border, Slide the PNG up increasing the scale to 100, then use a push animation. Stop the png on the right hand corner and use a 3d slow spin. then dissolve it. 5 seconds long"

@@PremiereGal I’m just starting out, I am a semi-professional editor and I can tell you. I don’t have enough time to clone myself and record and edit. It’s almost impossible to keep up with politics without a dedicated editor. I started a podcast too. It’s tough. I recommend people starting in this field to treat it like a business. Have startup money for an editor because being an editor and on camera is just too much some days. It’s so tough for no views to. If we had a legitimate AI helper to do captions, texts, key frames. That’s what we really need. pr doesn’t even have the caption technology of CapCut?! So why are they doing firefly when we can’t keep up with the short form apps? Totally crazy.

It looks like Firefly Video generalized the “747” prompt to a generic jetliner (possibly to avoid trademark issues), because what was in the video was quite unlike what a 747 actually looks like.

People need to raise their standards when it comes to this AI stuff. Most images and video that I have seen AI create looks like garbage. With AI videos, the physics are ridiculously bad, with countless artifacts that just looks silly. Images usually have a ton of flaws as well. I get it, people are excited about the possibilities of AI, but it's just not there yet, and there's no saying that it will ever be 100% accurate or convincing.
@PremiereGal

The way I see it is this isn't supposed to be a final product. It's a moving concept of what we hope to create :) It would be nice tho if the physics got better! If people want to use it for broll tho he needs to get a heck of a lot better.

The limitation of Adobe products is to submit to limit the reasons for doing things that it happens to agree to do so that it is not offended.. this choice must be made by the user and not by the tool.

Like @RightWingMatt said, what I really need are Ai-generated transitions and animations/motion for my existing clips. It's astounding to me that I'll be able to generate a fully animated tennis ball clip but I'll still have to manually keyframe or download plugins to do something like the Ken Burns effect or have dynamic titles and transitions. What I really need are Ai-generated transitions and animations/motion for my existing clips and graphics.

Ai-generated keyframes is such an awesome idea. It's a very good idea to bring forward for the integration of Firefly into Premiere Pro. I'm not sure how it will be done, but I imagine it is possible!
@renatovelarde422

sure, I'll use it we all will whether we like it or not. But obv video clips put together are what make up movies, shows, commercials... People talking about 'ideation' and 'support' footage can only pretend, like idiots, for so long. We all know how cheap the petty our big clients are. These are all already like 95% finished clean commercial shots. There's no way the biggest corporate video consumers/producers won't immediately be using these tools to completely bypass editors, production teams, effects workers; the entire production pipeline. So yay, this is so fun and cute to use!... But if you actually work in any part of production for a living you should be terrified like I am. We'll all be sandwich artists soon.
