Also, in a time when everyone is trying to be as vanilla as possible in terms of their personality to avoid any kind of controversy, I admire the fact that Paul isn't afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve and show us the real person he is. The first perfectly balanced guitar I ever played was a white PRS with bird inlays at West L.A. Music in 1987. I could not believe how perfect everything about that guitar was. I plugged it into a Marshall Jubilee half stack and was blown away by the tone and the smart versatility of the electronics, how perfect the tremolo system was set up, a non-locking system in an era when Floyds dominated. It was all about tone, playability, ergonomics, and a beautiful aesthetic that was all its own. I'm thrilled to see the success of this company over the decades. I've since become a PRS owner. They are the finest guitars on the planet.

I love how PRS guitars play and feel, Some of the best sounding instruments i have ever heard but every time i buy one, I sell it because i just cannot enjoy the thick, sticky clear coat finish. I enjoy playing relic/aged/vos styled guitars. Thin nitro finishes. So the wood can breath and you can feel the actual wood. When i play a PRS it sometimes doesnt even feel like wood to me since the clear coat seems so thick. I hope in the future they start offering a different finish. I hear they have a satin finish line (i think?), Which i have not had a chance to try yet. PLEASE PRS offer a thin nitro or aged finish line.

What a great vid! So assuring to see all the QC steps involved; not only for those guitars made in the U.S., but those made in Asia, as well. Top shelf company!

i like how after he sprayed the wood with water, he cleaned up his own mess he left on the table and put the water back. He didn't just leave it for someone else to clean up.

I watched Joe Walsh playing a PRS SE on stage with the Eagles. The SE line is outstanding. I have an SE 245, and I couldn't believe how good it was, and it only cost me $650. That's half the price of another brand similar guitar, and it's just as good or better. Well done PRS.

Ya'll over there at Premier Guitar are great at putting the right host with the right band or company. Thank you for all the content over the years. If this was around when I was teenager it wouldn't have taken me so long to learn about proper gear and tone.

Paul is such a nutcase and seems hard to interview sometimes, but god do I love him. Genuinely believe music wouldn’t be the same without him.

He strikes me as a very passive aggressive person. I bet he is difficult to deal with on a professional level.

I love Paul, what a character he is. Still never played one of his guitars(Lefthanded) but the qc looks pretty good.
