Kudos to Chris, he always asks the right questions without getting in the way of what the artist has to say about the gear. I'm glad that both Premier Guitar and Idles could spare the time to this great Rig Rundown, we got a lot of details. I saw Idles live this summer for the first time. Their sound is really fxking loud and their energy is over the top!

Stoked IDLES just played with BATTLES! Feels like they're on the same page with the electronic music but also rock trip. That had to be an epic show.

The first time i heard Idles was their KEXP performance in 2017 or so, and they opened with that super slowed down version of Colossus, and my first impression was "5 unfrozen cavemen started a band," so its funny to hear Mark use the same term

The Pony Up Daddy Saddle - Princess Pink is a neoprene parent saddle with a padded seat and grab handle for safe and comfortable play pony rides. It fits up to a 50-inch chest size and is made of strong, durable neoprene. The saddle has a Velcro design that makes it easy to put on.

I was sorta surprised by how cool the bassist is…not that he comes across as a prickly Pete…just that bassists for heavy bands can be “less than understanding”. The whole band seems really open minded. Kinda wish they’d f’around and make an ambient/experimental record. They all share that innocent love for making sounds. Ps:: buying a GARY

Think you don’t get the point. He jumps into the crowd while playing guitar. In every gig and since years he‘s dancing, crowdsurfing with fans. That means the guitar he‘s using for this has to be rocksolid.

I'm a big fan of IDLES and have been playing bass for well over 20 years, Adam's rig is absolute overkill. Some folks look at a circuit like that as a playground with endless options, I see several dozen potential failure points for a couple slight cuts and boosts he could easily achieve with an active bass 😅
