As a neutral - for me this was the most 'grit I have seen from Bath all season - in past games they have let their heads drop and just gone through the motions at times. This was 100% effort for the full 80 minutes.

Just watching the highlights on my phone you could sense/hear the atmosphere was incredible. You just can’t beat the sound of a crowd. I think I appreciate it even more now since the restrictions brought about by Covid.

Yes it wasn't a full strength Bath side, but it wasn't a full strength Quins side either. Quins ended the game with a hooker at 8 and a lock on the wing - not exactly ideal

And the Quins are quickly becoming my favorites to watch. You guys have an incredible team. That half back pairing and the midfield are just in a league of their own. Dombrandt the best 8 in England right now, imho. The Quins are a joy to watch, I must say.

I like Bath. First saw The Rec in 1993. It's certainly different since then. They don't have a nickname, as they are just Bath Football Club. It's a great rugby area, the Cotswolds and West Midlands, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall. From my vantage point on a number of train rides, one sees many rugby goalposts on pitches here and there.

Don't know who made the desicions for Quins when they had penalties but it was pretty poor stuff all night. No idea how they managed to come up with no points after they spent the opening 10 minutes in Bath's 22, had 5 penalties and were on the brink of penalty try and yellow card for Bath. To be fair Quins haven't been playing brilliantly this season but without Smith, Dombrandt and the other England call-ups it shows on the scoreboard.

watched the game as a neutral and gotta say it was mainly their discipline, id love to see the stats but it felt like they gave away a pen every 5 mins, not much one player can do when that is the case. wish they had given away that many pens when they played us (Gloucester) we would have mauled them to death.

Quins were without Smith for the first few rounds of the season, 4-5 weeks in the autumn and over christmas and they're still third. This loss wasn't due to Smith's absence, it was because our pack couldn't secure the ball
