Es irrelevante si lo haces sola o con abogado para lo que preguntas. Meter un caso de inmigrante (tanto si se aprueba como si no) sí que puede tener consecuencias en la petición de visados de no inmigrante, consulta un abogado si eso te preocupa, yo no doy consejo legal. Saludos

Premium is available to everyone and it only affects the I-140 stage

Hi Oscar, I sent my EB2-NIW package to USCIS, they deducted $700 from my credit card on 25 Nov 2023, but I have not received the receipt number unitl now. I submitted an e-notification form as well. Any idea how I can get the receipt number from USCIS.

e-notification is not working well lately. If you are in the US you should have received the letter by now. If you are abroad, it depends (how well does your country postal service work?). It doesn't hurt to contact USCIS through Emma, ask to speak with a live agent and request your receipt number

I've been on the green card process for over almost 6 years and still waiting for the DOL PERM approval. So here is my simple / complex question for you. In your perspective, for a Mexican family going through an EB3-Skilled worker PERM process from MX to USA, applying and working in Puerto Rico, how does 2024 looks like? Our priority date is May 31 2023 and given the upcoming presidential elections and the current polls, do you think that the panorama is pessimist or optimist? Your sincere opinion will be highly appreciated.

Hi! I don't provide predictions for the visa bulletin. In general, I don't think things are getting better just looking at demand for visas and green cards. The election should not have a big impact on these things - only that immigration reform is very unlikely to happen. Just a note: PERM should not get so delayed, are you sure your company is doing the right thing? No need to answer as I will not get into specific situations, just an item to reflect upon.
