This train looks really luxurious even the regular seats looked pretty good.

Out of all the many trains Japan has. I have to say this one was probably my favorite. Very modern looking with an awesome color scheme. Red, black and gold. Super pretty 😍

*first time commenting* one thing that always surprises me (even now during the pandemic) is how everyone in Japan willingly wears a mask, the trains are always clean, and even quiet! Yes occasionally you hear a child or a person chatting(talking) but there’s no loud music, no swearing, everyone stays in their seats even when you pass normal commuter trains it seems very much the same! Yet in the uk you’d be lucky to find a train that’s quiet, people being polite and people wearing masks when even it was mandatory to do so!

So right. It's that way also in the US. I love Japanese people for being how they are and I wish more people would be like that.

I’ve never considered going from Osaka to Nagoya (or vice versa) by train but this looks quite special. And the price surprised me, considering the facilities and speed, that’s very reasonable. Definitely one to add to the list 👍

When I take intercity coaches in Korea, I can't sit at the front. It makes me so anxious to see the driver get so close to cars in front and change lanes constantly. That open view of the train cockpit is brilliant, it would be fascinating to have that view of the driver and the track ahead. Also, what a great idea to have smoking rooms on long distance trains. I know smoking isn't popular these days but a lot of people will find this info useful! Great videos, thank you ^^

Very interesting, getting to watch the front of the train with the driver. Your meal looked delicious. I wish our train stations and airports sold such take along meals. Heck, I wish our trains were like Japan's. Thanks for sharing.

another great train adventure - thanx for taking us along - question about your bento box - it looks so yummy - do you eat it cold or can you somehow warm it up - not a fan of cold meals except for sandwiches that’s why I asked 🇨🇦 😷🙏

Only in Japan. I doubt that the interior and seats on Air Force One (747 of the President of the USA) are any better or luxurious as these Premium seats on the Hinotori. And the restroom and toilet on Air Force One most certainly aren't as nice or any cleaner. Simply amazing train and facilities. It would be worth going to Japan just to ride on this train and others like it. In America, unless you own a private very expensive business jet (or 757 like Donald Trump), it simply is impossible to find this kind of luxury transportation. It just doesn't exist anywhere. Amazing that the average person in Japan can experience this kind of luxury.

Hinotori translates into "Bird of Fire." Firebirds like the Hinotori have been a part of human mythology around the world, like the Phoenix of Greece or the Fenghuang of China.
