I've held on to the Izmail. It's a great ship. I already have GC so I just saw no point in spending real money on this blitz pass. I wish I could get teammates like you had in the second battle. Excellent teamwork between you, the Leberecht Maass, and the carrier.

Great video terry,I love this ship.i enjoy the Halloween camo and it helps with maneuverability i know its a 🎃 camo but it plays to her strengths. she is like a battlecruiser i agree.if your top tier you can hurt the opponent team with this ship in my opinion.

I prefer gc for her ap. Doria for sap dd killing ability. What’s really irritating me tho, is wargaming made ALL their IT cpt’s have no sap boost on skill 11 except the legendary cpt’s. They really need to release regular cpt’s with sap. Some of us don’t have the hundreds of dollars it takes to farm cpt crates for the IT legendaries…

Idk.... Feel like its better as GC in T5... Getting imto T7s can be rough!!! My only Premium/Elite Russian commander, Kuznetsov, who normally lives in Smolensk, def helps!!

I really like this ship a lot. She’s a big cruiser in my opinion, a super cruiser. The only thing I would change is the damage in the guns. If your in VII games, you can and will struggle, I couldn’t punch through a Prinz Heinrich

For battle one, didn't you have a map tactics video where when you spawn on your side your team takes a&b try and kill the enemy team on A for the 3 vs 4 and then turn around and work on the C 4 vs 3 spawn side? If the dd played watched your older video he's doing the right tactic lol

A DD is fast enough to get into the cap, maybe control it a bit and launch torps, to either hold up the enemy team, possibly get a kill or do some damage then retreat. Or even possible tk completely hold the cap. But yes, you are right lol

As soon as I saw the stats for this ship I thought, “why would anyone want a T6 GC with T5 GC stats.” Yet, I constantly saw people lauding it’s virtues in wc and elsewhere. Meanwhile, I’m over here like🤔… no thanks. I would rather play GC in tier 6 than this thing.

Call me crazy, but: I gave My NR a different outfit: Aux Weapon Mod I for secondary range, idea is more brawling range and better anti DD/AA performance, Damage Reduction mod I for better survivability, and Torp Defense mod I. Obv. Battleship Modernization, and the same consumables as you. My captain is only tVI yet, and I chose V-Survival Specialist over Fire Supremacy. And for the first time, I bought the historical camo, bc I want to use it as a trainer for soviet BB captains. So I focused more on survivability and brawling capability by boosting secondary and flak range.

Height above water difference - Russian sailors are much lighter than Italian sailors due to the greater pasta consumption by the Italian crew. ;-)

Conti de Cavour was her sister ship......right? She seems smaller and more Dreadnought like on that, while Caesar is Battlecruiser like.....hmm. Well, I got Haida and watched Terry's Guide on it.....yeah Its the hardest ship to play.

Really liking this ship, my win percentage would be above 75 percent if I didn't have to play with potatoes who expect to win center control by patrolling the outside of the map 😐

In soviet unijos there was A deficit of food, so average Russian sailor was lighter and hence Novorosiysk wasn’t sitting so deep in the water 😊

Well I've heard another theory surrounding the very mysterious and suspicious sinking of Novorossiysk that prays around Nicolay Kuznetsov (Admiral of the Soviet Navy and War Hero) that claims the he wanted to build a large and powerful surface fleet to rival the one of the western powers but a lot of important and high ranking people within the Soviet Union thought that was a dum, silly and unrealistic idea and instead wanted to commit into a large and powerful submarine fleet but he was too stubborn to listen to them and he wanted his surface fleet above anything else and was blocking the development of a proper submarine fleet but since was a very popular and renown war hero in the Soviet Union they just couldn't dismissed him so instead they plotted to remove him from position by sinking the Novorossiysk which at that time was the flagship of the Soviet Black Sea Fleet and use the catastrophe to blame it on him for incompetence and eventually he got dismiss and replaced by an Admiral who quickly began building the new submarine fleet. Either way the end of the Novorossiysk it's almost poetic given the circumstances.
