Why not Polyamid/Nylon. I use it on my Hanse 342 as anchor snubber and mooring line as it has more stretch than Polyester (especially in 3 strand version) and has same braking load and other characteristic (UV resistance eg.)

Indeed Polyamid is a material which can be used too. It's popular in the US. For the moment we prefer the polyester fibre
