I just found it and haven't tried it yet. But, this looks good! I was just telling my wife that I need an ORGANIZED, methodical PROGRAM. I've watched a good number of videos, but this one feels right. If I get there, I'll post about it here. Thanks, Nitin, for this demonstration!!

Try another source. The first excercise can take a toll of your knees unless you're already pretty flexible.

I just found this video. I keep stretching since 15 days some other stretches etc. Cant sit in lotus, however getting a bit comfortable each day. Cant take my heel to the other side of groin and the knee is five inches above the floor!

At 7:09 I can clearly here a voice of a male pigeon from behind the stage.. He probably demands a pigeon pose to be performed on the stage. )) By the way, in all seriousness, a pigeon pose is a very efficient hip opener.

Is there any remedy to decease/remove pain while sitting is shukasan ..i cannot even sit for more than 20mins and legs start paining.Sitting in padmasan is dream for me..the above vidoe is of great help and .i am also following it for learning to do padamsana but the main issue remains getting pin/neesdles i.e numbness while sitting crossed legged and to sit longer i.e more than 1hr.

Please do not try these stretches, the '15' times he mentions. These are quite brusque and will injure your knees. You'll find them pulled and wobbly very soon. Consider other practices online that will slowly get you into this pose, with gentleness and care.

As a beginner I've tried the first exercise for a couple of days and I can already tell there's something wrong with how it interacts with my knees.
