This video series will discuss the tips to prepare for ASEAN Scholarship math selection test. You may need to understand the format of math selection test that can be seen from the official website of MOE.
You better visit the official website of MOE regularly to find out the latest information because there may be some changes to the rules of selection test.
For the first video, we will discuss a few questions from Singapore Primary 5 math exam to illustrate what Singapore P5 school exam looks like. The video is in English. The latter videos will discuss example math questions from P6 and PSLE (for Secondary 1 entry level), while for Secondary 3 entry level we will discuss math questions from Secondary 1, Secondary 2 and O level.

Thanks for the question. If he spent 1/6 of his remaining salary, the rest is 5/6 of the remaining salary.

@@careysafp If he spent 1/6 of the remaining salary, the rest of the remaining salary is : 1 - 1/6 = 6/6 - 1/6 = 5/6

22:40 Why isn't the answer 454 instead? The one block should've only been written as 73+164, shouldn't it?

Thanks for the question. The key idea here is that when Mandy gives Rose 73, not only does Mandy lose 73, but Rose also gain 73. So, if after giving 73, Mandy had 154 more than Rose, originally Mandy would have 73+73+154 more than Rose, not 154+73. So the answer is 600 books.
