Preparation of Sodium Acetate ( CH3COONa ).
Start by measuring 300ml of acetic acid then pour it into beaker. After this add Sodium bicarbonate until the bubbling stops. then filter solution to remove excess of sodium bicarbonate. then place it on hot plate to evaporate water . when the solution become concentrated then add it into the beaker or flask to cool down and the crystals will start forming. then filter it and dehydrate
the crystals of sodium acetate.

No bro Sodium carbonate reacts with acetic acid to form sodium acetate, carbon dioxide gas and water. Thus, only carbon dioxide gas is evolved. The reaction takes place as follows: 2CH3COOH(l)+Na2CO3(s)⟶2CH3COONa(aq)+H2O(l)+CO2(g)
