I think you should put a Alpine Camp Chef model woodstove in your cabin and you would like it too.

It is always interesting how people handle their wood. I'm used to filling the front porch as full as I can with wood. since some days in the winter you cannot even see your woodshed 50' away. Even with a rope strung between the two you can get separated with an armload load of wood. That and the wood keeps the front insulated more from the winter wind. Winters can be so much nicer in your neck of the woods.

A suggestion when measuring firewood would be to still use your measure stick but some sidewalk sticks of white chalk to mark length ..Good job on door and window .. Regards from Australia ..

Noticed your Bf stuff. You ever seen one? I have. Where I live , they are here. I hate and fear them. Fear being the key word. Have had a couple really close calls, unless you are armed as in tomahawk ,Bowie knife ,rifle and pistol. Odds are you'll only see them once. I saw a photo sent to me by someone. And it was actually a real photo. And a real Bf. People think they know what they look like but 99.9 do not know. When someone tells me a story about them, I can tell if they are lying. They are a unique animal for sure. Everything about them is unusual. People are constantly saying they are gentle giants and such nonsense. I've never seen or ever heard of a nice one. Never seen any nice wild animals. City folk. They are very smart as well. Never underestimate them is what I tell people. They watch us and learn. You can wear a cap pistol in a holster, and they will avoid you. Without it. They will access the odds of grabbing you. They think. You may think this is all hogwash and lies. You see one you'll know it's 100% truth. I've seen little ones to the Big Daddy's. Female who almost killed me and my cousin was 8ft if an inch. And probably 400 lbs easy. She almost put wings on us and we were both armed. They ambush their prey. Too big and awkward to catch anything. We never smelled her or saw her till she jumped. So don't believe the people who claim they smell like a skunk. They have a unique smell ,but it's not loud or overbearing. They smell, like a wet dog and pooh-pooh. Like they forgot to wipe . You'll smell it , but think it's an old dog who's been rolling in it. Pull your gun if you smell that. Also that tiny little lock on your cabin door is useless. You need a drop bar on the inside. They figure out you're alone there and unarmed you'll be dead. Advice is the only thing you get for free, that may be worth something. Peace.
